Rynamite - 2007-09-13 10:07 AM So I found a pet spider behind my filing cabinet. Now, I kill flies in my office, and feed them to him. He's gonna become a huge spider and help me take over the world.
We have one of those in a garbage can outside of our house. His days are numbered, though, because it's getting colder and colder. MRS2Tony named him `Toby' ...

Aw, Tony and Toby.

I was trying to think of a name for mine.

Nah ... it's because, and I quote ... ``We couldn't name him Charlotte because he's CLEARLY a boy. And we couldn't name him Spiderman because that'd be too obvious. So we named him Toby because Toby Maguire played Spiderman.'' CLEARLY a boy? What, is he wearing red cycling shorts??? Can someone post that picture again?!

Did you SERIOUSLY just ask to see that picture?

Seriously!  If I were going to ask for a picture to be posted on TAN it would certainly not be that one.

Speaking of pictures on TAN... Where's RM?

TheSchwamm - 2007-09-13 11:17 AM Weird link... Kind of a novel way to go about it...

My coworker showed me that earlier.

Gotta give him credit for creativity, at least.

Oh, certainly.... i do. But... My problem with that sort of thing is that, well... what if he messed it up? Not quite enough weight on the blade or something? That's ... not how to go.

It's just over the mountain from where I live.

That sucks.

i'm kind of intrigued about how there's going to be an autopsy. i mean, i know that's semi-standard procedure, but...

Oh, and it says .762 caliber... am I right in assuming it should have been 7.62 caliber? I've never heard of .762...

.762 is correct.  It's a measure of the inside diameter in inches - so it's 0.762 inches in diameter.  7.62 would have huge bullets.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess they have to do it.

Yeah... One of my cousins and her boyfriend died last year in a drunk driving accident. The tree won. ANYWAY, the powers that be did autopsies and figured out they had died before the car burst into flames. So i guess it was nice to know that they didn't burn to death, but... what was the point in the grand scheme of things?

Well, what if some psycho had murdered them by poison then had staged the accident? I must watch too much CSI, but really...isn't that why they have to do the autopsies?

Umm.... unless our family life suddenly morphed into something out of a soap opera... They had been at a bar all evening celebrating that cousin's upcoming birthday with her dad and her brothers... It's pretty well understood what happened...

This is funny.  =)  Joe and Tim feed the spiders OUTSIDE their house (and their neighbor's houses).  They catch flies and throw them into the webs.  I think this is strange behavior, but ... maybe not.  =

Rosie's taken over my face, anyway. I buy crickets and throw them into her cage. Once in a while she gets a pinkie mouse as a treat.
