I had a great run yesterday.

Still kind of woggy from E2M a few weeks back. 

Put up some cruddy 3 milers this week, but yesterday set the goal of 6.2 and MET the goal of 6.2.  What made it really great was I conquored my head.  My one disappointment racing this year was I would give up on the run.  I was proud of my run at Escape, and yesterday ... wow.  Head said no at mile 4, but BRAIN said ... well ... HTFU.

Welcome jszat. It might be my age or failing eyesight but I can't seem to find a thread saying that you were joining us. Suppose I'm better late than never. Or is the Black Magic becoming stronger? Oooooooooooh.

Just wanted to let the team know there have been a bit of confusion about anyone that joined the challenge late. Mileage for any late entrants will be counted from the beginning of October so goals should be set taking this into account!

Speaking of which... I did my track workout this evening!  Yay.  Just over 15 miles total this week, that's high for me, and I feel GREAT.

No running tomorrow, long run Monday!

I'm a little over scheduled today.  Maybe a marathon, or a little hike up Everest.  Hmmm ... alligator wrestling?  Laundry? 

Eh.  Honestly?  I'll be on the couch should you need me.  If the phone don't ring, I'll know that you called.   

Oh, and because I'm a shameless attention ...

E2M two weeks ago ...

I'm just in an annoying phase this morning.  I'll stop now.  ;p

Dude, you are hard-core!  Welcome aboard.   

You had birthday cake today, and I had several cookies, then Kashi cereal for dinner.  This means we are carbo-loaded.  Now make sure to hydrate, and happy running tomorrow!    Put me down for a 9-mile long run in the morning... and congratulate me wildly if I get 'er done, it will be my longest run since my last 1/2M , back in January... 

Hey team:
AWESOME weekend for me.  My race went unbelievable well (I think I'm still in shock).

I was 8 or 9 out of 300 or so women. I ran a 1:17:49 (7:47 mi!) 10 miler!! It was so good, that this morning (Monday) I did an 8.3 mile recovery run.  That is 51.84 mi. for me through today (Monday).
