Or else I'm driving to Sydney. (May have to overinflate the tires a bit, and bring some oars....) And yeah, I'll be bringing the whip. Although threats of whipcracking haven't seemed to work yet. I gotta figure out a better motivator for her... Hm.... |

I am in for 15,000 yds, and if I beat him in total yardage for the month he has to add to the header of his blog for the month of January "My little sister kicked my a$$ in the December swim challenge." Happy swimming! Note to self:check to see if the JCC pool is open during Hanukkah . ALL RIGHTY!! GAME ON!! So what is your penalty when big bro kicks your butt? |

New user 68 | Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding Hello I just recently joined this group. My name is Heather and I'm from Kelowna, B.C., Canada. I'm part of a Masters group at my local YMCA . In the past I have a had a hard time committing so I'm pledging to improve that this month by doing 20k or 20,000M (I think in metric). Our workouts in my line are about 2000m to 2500m on the long days. We even have a challenge at our club to do 50 - 100m sets or 100 - 100m sets. Its on dec 15th... I'm still debating!! It's not a race just 5k or 10k of swimming with breaks if you need it. The reward is food. hmmmmm The longest I've swam is across the Okanagan Lake for 2500M ....... Anyways good luck everyone! [sorry, distracted] because he and his family are Russian immigrants; they came to the U.S. with very little, and he had to make 1.5 hr/day commutes on bus and foot to swim practice. (Don't I know about that.) Furthermore, he is a fellow TROJAN (yours truly practiced in the pool in the background), and he really gives back to his community--his swim centers here in L.A. teach underprivileged kids to swim.
