Don't worry, I'm not cheating on you guys

thats a relief....but now that you have this new furniture...you promise to stay true and blue to us!!??

Of course!  Just have to figure out what the dealio is with my wireless router so I can bring the labtop and the interwebz to the new furniture.  I might have to bring my brother the tech whiz over to figure things out for me.

serendipity - 2009-10-22 7:25 PM Hey Neal!  Did you fall asleep on your new couch?

And did you make sure it looks okay with your bike?  If not, you are going to have to get a new bike that doesn't clash with the sofa.  (See what I did there?  I just rationalized getting a new sofa AND a new bike.)

Nope, but I have been watching football on it for the past 2 hours.

And I think the bike matches, but I'm sure I can find one that matches better

Ok, let's get real.   Neal is thinking about the next hottie he brings back to his apt and how the new furniture fits into the plan.   If she's a tri-hottie, all the better.

LOL!  I like the way you think.  And here I was worrying about how my bike matched the sofa

skrtrnr - 2009-10-22 12:43 PM AFTERNOON GHOULIES!

back from my RUN FROM HELL!

honest to pete.  though.  its been awhile since ive had an ugly run.  theres always at least a few.

today was the day.

bugger.  but my 5 miler is in the books.

and IM ABOVE THE YELLOW LINE NOW...

77.7%

alls sevens.  some sign there.

i have to say.  since the run was going so EXCEPTIONALLY WELL (dripping w sarcasm) i did consider the fact that i already did an .8 and why not just cut my EXCEPTIONALLY WONDERFUL (dripping w even MORE sarcasm) run short,

but.....

then i kept thinking of all of you, and the EXTRA EFFORT you all have/are putting into your workouts this week, and how my inadvertent .8 mistake inspired the TEAM to do. just.  a little. bit. extra.

i thought, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL im gonna end this run on a short note...i rallyed, putting forth just a little xtra effort and finished the entire FIVE.

thanks for INSPIRING ME to do just a little bit more today!
stacieb

Way to get above the line with your 5miles Stacie......sometimes we need to look at the "bad" training as great mental training to push when it hurts the most!

Well, at least the poor girl can sit down!  And if she's a tri-hottie, she'll appreciate how well his bike matches the sofa, when she's not mesmerized by Neal's stories of running in the rain.  Maybe she'll want to get her hands on the new rain gear.  If Neal's smart, he'll be in it!  Wink

Well, my rain gear doesn't exactly exude "sexy."  But maybe tri-hotties think a little differently

Yoga was great!  Thursdays are my favorite day.  I teach gentle and chair yoga.  Love gentle because we do lots of hip openers, which my running body needs.  The hikers like that class too.  We commiserate.   Chair yoga is all seniors.  They are fun.  They crack me up.

There's something very gratifying about working with seniors, isn't there?

I want to get my personal trainer cert with a specialization in senior fitness.  Then I could hang out at the senior citizen center.  They have the best parties in town.
