Race belt or fuel belt? I've got a race belt (to attach my race number...beats pins) that also doubles as a fuel belt. It's almost like an old ammo belt with several loops to carry gels in... Have fun shopping...oh, and make sure you wear (and wash) those shorts at least once before the race...if you've got an 'old' pair you feel more comfortable in, I'd use those...last thing you want in a half mary is abrasion...I'd recommend buying some Body Glide too...where you use it is up to you |

Master 2339 somewhere over the rainbow | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! two days off-but i'm back!! kinda- i ran 5.7 this morning, but not quite 3 miles in my knee crapped out and i jogged home-so my time sucked, and i was aiming for 7. oh well, at least i got out there, i don't feel like quite the caged animal i felt like yesterday and there's always tomorrow i'll get on the bike tonight and make up for my lousy run this morning how are the nibbs this morning? hector you got a half mary coming up?? jealous!! i don't think i'm quite ready so i put it off till next year--can't wait to hear about it! what else is going on over here?? my team's kinda quiet this morning |

It hurts less than a 10K but yet somehow I feel more of a sense of accomplishment when I finish one. 42.68/100 miles DONE! 9.02 miles 1:16:54 8:32/mi pace this morning (this week's tempo run, I'm Officially In Marathon Taper Now). My favorite distance also! Not too long, but not too short. Juuuust right. |
