You guys have a great weekend. Snuck an easy 1.5 mile run in earlier and might get on the bike later. Hi Bill. I've been under the weather with cold. Tried to get a swim in this morning but cut it short, came home, and dove back under the covers. Now to get out and pick up a few last minute things before we get snowed in for a day or two. If the fever breaks, I will be snow shoeing tomorrow. Flurries just starting. Hope we get lots! How is your hip feeling? Hope you feel better and get to enjoy the snow! |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulie's: We Are Doing What We Are Loving December Challenge Happy Saturday Ghoulies! I'm sorry I haven't been around the last week and a half or so. I got hit in the face with a big pile of life, and things are finally starting to calm back down a touch. Our wireless router at home died and I've been very busy cleaning up for Santa's arrival, so getting on the internet here is a pain in the butt. I've also been sick for the last week and a half which is always fun. I'm fairly certain I left half a lung on the sidewalk during my run today but it was worth it to get back on the road. And finally, things at work have been extremely busy. End of year deadlines, never-ending piles of paperwork, and a phone that rings off the hook have made it impossible to catch up with the Village from the office. The good news is that I'm starting to feel a bit better, and work should be slowing down a bit now that the holidays are here. I still have a lot of work to do to get the house ready, but I'm making progress. Speaking of which, I need to get going so I can get the kids off eachother's throats and continue my relentless but fruitless attempt at making our family and dining rooms look presentable. Take care everyone, and I'll check back in soon. |

My husband and his brothers are out plowing out all the driveways now, we had over a foot of snow. My husband's truck is 4-wheel drive, my car weighs 5lbs. He told me he would take me to the college or the Y later so I could run. I'm not looking forward to running 10 miles on a treadmill but it has to be done.I did some Christmas shopping Friday night, I'm not quite done yet, but almost. Now I just need to find some time to wrap everything. The kiddos may have to spend some time at Grandma's later today so I can at least get their gifts done.Have a great day Ghoulies!!! |

Between the heavy legs from yesterday's fast run, the coughing, and the hills I was definitely glad to be done at the end but it felt really good. I hope everyone's having a nice weekend so far. Take care all, and I'll check back in soon... |

Back in the office for 3 long days before 10 days off in hopefully sunny Florida. We switched plans and are leaving noon Christmas day. The in-laws switched from a Supreme Turkey dinner to Lazagna and I told my wife I can get lazagna many places lets leave Christmas day for Florida. She talked to her parents and they were good with it - I would have left anyways but it made them feel good asking I am sure! 1 extra day in Florida now - yeah!!! Shopping is 90% done and now it is packing time. Where do you go in Fla? I was raised on the west coast. Venice. Glad you get an extra day! |
