With the control freak I work for here there is no deviation allowed. I'm not allowed to start work before 7 and I'm not allowed to work more than 8 hours in a day. That's just her rule for me because she doesn't like me. Totally sucks!

It is amazing the productivity loss caused by stoopid managers. I have no problem checking e-mail and answering calls on my days off because I have the flexibility to adjust my regular hours to fit my life. It evens out and the State is the winner in the long run.

It's just one of the many reasons I'm trying to get out of here. I still send out resumes daily. I'm still looking for work from home jobs. Being that I work in the IT field I will eventually be able to find something more flexible. I'd love to work from home, or have a job where I can take one of my pups into the office with me.

Okay I was trying to tell Anne to say you are training your pup to be a guide dog, and then you can take them to work with you. That would be one way to deal with the grumpy co-worker in the cubile next to you. Everytime they (coworker) whine or bark at someone, get your pup to growl loudly.

Eventually I'll have a service dog because of all of my spine problems and nerve damage. The nerve issues suck, but I would love bringing a pup to work. Milo would just lay around and sleep all day, he'd be perfect.

How is the marathon preparation going on? It's coming up soon, right?

Oy. Yep, it is on the 25th. It would be super quiet for me right now but the race director decided to add a kids run about 3 weeks ago. Guess who is in charge of getting the word out? Oy. She wanted me to go throught the local school PTAs as the main way of getting the word out. Something about busy moms/PTA presidents=not checking email often, and most don't list a phone number where they can be reached. We're offering them a $1 donation for every race entry that mention their school's PTA. You'd think they would want to jump on that.

The calm this week has me a little worried about next week.

The kids race sounds cool and a good deal for the PTA, but all the last minute does NOT sound cool. Good luck!

flying around the library. How he/she got in here I have not idea, but it's not happy flying around the rafters, and I bet it is getting pretty hungry about now. tomorrow morning I'm going to leave all the door open and hope the bird finds its way out.

Well...Anatomy is done for the day. It was actually really good. We looked at all the organs and dissected stuff...actually learned useful things. Wooo for the stomach, pancrea, spleen, liver, SI, Colon...etc...haha...

Now I have to study for my quiz later this afternoon. Boo
