I got an email from one of the managers of the corporate department today just saying 'have you done a spreadsheet'? Um... of what? A little guidance as to what spreadsheet you think is needed might help. In fact I've done 3 spreadsheets so far trying to figure out the best way to migrate all of the users over to the new doc management system, as well as issues that might prevent some from being moved right away, and one that shows the queries that are still ongoing with regards to the roll-out... but I've got no idea if that's what is being asked for or not. Sigh. Is he a barrister, a manager, or both? Because if it's both, you ought to know what kind of competence level you're dealing with Because you're brilliant? Because you're nice? Because it'll look good on your resume? It's a manager who has entirely too much on her plate right now, so I can sort of understand why she has no idea what the heck is going on, but still... a little help people! Um... Because I got 'voluntold' that I'm doing it. VOLUNTOLD! Ba ha ha ha!!! By the way ... a warm, wiggly, snuggly {{TANGEMELONS PRESS}} for the blazingly bright and beautiful Tangerines. |
