Looks like I will probably be going to SC next Friday to meet with the lab people there. I don't think I will have any beach time though. |

Iowaman - 2013-04-01 2:10 PM I've been very busy the last two days and just now saw the video of the basketball player breaking his leg. That is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I looked away when they replayed it and didn't see it. I'm glad. I still picture Joy Theisman's leg and other athletes who broke bones. Shoot, I look away when I see them spain ankles. I have done that too many times and it hurts just looking and remembering. |

I will be a couple days from finishing my exam and will need a release. |

I'll push you off of that fence in public! No phone call today, dammit. I get SO many interviews and seconds, but precious few job offers. I guess by being myself I don't get jobs, but I keep my integrity? |

I heard on ABC an orthopedist speculate that a stress fracture may have weakened the tibia contributing to the catastrophic fail. Makes sense since it's so rare. |

He still has to get the Scientific director on board and she is in the middle of rewriting a grant. You know how that goes. I am set up for the Friday interview but I have to get the day off without causing problems with my boss. I don't want to jepardize what I do have for a possibility. There is a great deal to be said for integrity! You need to be able to be who you are or you will be miserable elsewhere. |
