I do sometimes have to wonder where the warm dogs are during the day... but I never, ever have to wonder if they'll join me for a nap!  It's what they do best .

Sometimes I am an idiot.  Maneesh is also writing an affidavit for Dave.  Maneesh's writing skills are lacking and he always sends stuff over to me for editing and such.  can you see where this is going???

So I pulled up his statement and corrected the spelling errors, and then a few of the gramatical errors(tenses not matching and stuff like that) and then I rephrased how a few of the sentences started(he used "at that moment for at least 6 sentences)...

The it dawns on me...I am changing it from his voice to my voice.  I am suppose to be writing a similar account-They can't sound like they are written by the same person.  Even though I didn't change any of the meanings in his statement it still started to take on a new voice...

Shiat.  This makes writing my statement much more difficult.

I know you have said you aren't all that jaxzzed about CA....or Raleigh for that matter.  No answers to offer except to follow your gut and heart.

Yup, me too... just trying to stay awake until BoyToy gets home from the airport but, uhhh, I think I might just go to bed instead.

Plenty of cold weather here in Indiana.  You're more than welcome to borrow some.

The wind certainly makes things interesting.  Every once in awhile it has made me want to get off my bike and just walk home.

I've got < 3 hours to decide whether I want to submit my Raleigh application ... or not. The position closes eletronically at 11:59 EST.

I *really*, really do not want to live in The South Again. Even though it would be a lot closer to my kids. I just don't think the Raleigh area is all that great from driving through it.

 

Flip a coin. Heads, you apply, tails, you don't Just kidding. I think it would be really cool to be that free with life, though. I moved a lot as a kid. Every time we moved, it was because of my dad's job. Must go where the job is, regardless of how much we loved our home and friends and school where we were currently living. You have to decide what is best for your future. Are stable financially where you are? Do you have job security? These are huge right now. The South may have it's issues, but historically, we have bounced back from recession quickly and the economy here is a bit insulated from a lot of the country's economic woes. That being said, things are not great here right now. If it is not a sure thing, and not something you particularly want in the first place, it might be best to hang tight in Cali for awhile. Just my thoughts.

You say that, but as soon as I got out of the car in Wisconsin, I was ready to go home.

so how was the visit with the fam Jen?

It was really good.  We hadn't been home since Christmas last year.  We got to hang out with lots of friends - some for the first time since I moved to Virginia 4 years ago.  Had lots of fun.

But it was cold.
