I'm going to have to re-evaluate ... between the bike fall a couple weeks ago and I pulled my hip flexor yesterday - I'm going to need some more time off this week... How do I re-evaluate my goal?
It depends upon what you think you can do (without injuring yourself )....
If you just need time off this week, recalc your goal this way:
(original goal ) * (30 - days missed due to injury ) / 30 = new goal
For example, if your original goal was 50 miles, but you miss 5 days due to injury:
(50 miles ) * (30 - 5 ) / 30 = 41.7 miles revised goal
