Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: November CRUSHERS So I make arrangements to work from home today because I had a dentist appointment. So what happens? I get back from the dentist and there's a note that I need to set someone up on the computer system, which I have to do in the office. So then I had to get my stuff together and head in. Now 30 minutes later I'm done. 1+ hour drive round trip to do about 30 miutes of work. Frustrating. |

Our very own Rachel won the guess-Judi-run bonus round, so she gets an extra 15% added to her final total at the end. ALSO ... We are AHEAD in the CHALLENGE!!!! ... by two percentage points, and it's still waaaaay under where we're at in the month. So break out the knitting needles, keep shakin' those booties, exercise the bod, exorcise the Coke, and WIN!!! WOOT! I think Dee tasered the opponents and shocked them back some. |

I went to see a new muay thai trainer last night and he stood in front of me and told me directly that he won't train girls because he is too tough. I actually thought he was joking to start with and when I realised he was serious I just turned around and walked out because I was so mad. This is 2 trainers now - seriously!!! I am used to having to work a lot harder because I'm a girl but I'm not used to being told I can't do something! You should have surprised him and showed him how tough you could be. I would think you would have some kind of sex discrimination suit on your hands too. You're probably better off finding a different trainer though. Its frustrating when you run into people like that. I know. I had my training gear in the car too but its no fun trying to persuade someone who has already decided they don't want to train you that they should... I did consider going to the local paper too because thats 2 gyms now but I don't think I want to stir things up. Its a small community... |

The second half of the month is going to be busy! I'm on track!! However, instead of losing 5lbs I have gained 2 - which is going to be a problem!!! This isn't something that's easily controlled and with 2 weeks left I am nervous. Oooh, that will be tough - doable, just, but tough! |

I am used to having to work a lot harder because I'm a girl but I'm not used to being told I can't do something! * lots of words that would get me in trouble with the mods * end rant That's discrimination. Is there any information that indicate that the class is ONLY for men? If not, then I would consider raising a stink with the regarding the presence/attitude that it is displaying. No, theres nothing like that, although they do run female only classes and their mma trainer is happy to train women as fighters.... I suspect if I pushed it he would be happy for me to train there in the class but he doesn't want to train me as a fighter. I'm sure I could take the matter further but this is Australia, without meaning to offend anyone, there are a lot of chauvinistic men here and everyone just accepts it. I'll find someone with the right attitude. |

And on the way to drop #2 off at day care, she puked all over the back seat of the car. I think she was just coughing so much it made her throw up, but still we're BOTH home now... Needless to say, I'm not sure how much rest or training or anything I'm going to get done today at this rate! Oh goodness, not a great day for you - hope you and #2 feel better! |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: November CRUSHERS Date night was great! He got me a little stuffed christmas reindeer (if you ask him it's a moose) I had seen last week and thought was really cute so he surprised me with it. We went to Copper River which was really good. It was great to get away for awhile just the 2 of us and not have to worry about school. |
