Yeah having three Type 1 diabetics in my immediate family, a calorie is NOT just a calorie to them.
I've learned a lot about carbs/sugars and the effect they have on blood sugars and the like. Fascinating.

I might have to check that out.  Don't know how the switching from rowing to walking works though.

x1000. No mention of hockey was made becasue ESPN doesn't televise it. WAY too obvious they talk predominantely about their own programming.

Nice!!!  I love it when that happens in the boat and you can just go with the swing.  On a good night, in the winter, rowing in the dark, with the swing in the boat dialed in and the ka chunk of the oars in the locks it gets really hypnotic.  I've been know to just keep rowing when to cox told me to drop out.

I tried rowing as an off-season cross training. Hurt my shoulder very badly, but that was when the clavicle was broken and I didn't know it. Doc has since resected it and taken a centimeter off the tip of it and reset the joint. I should try rowing again now that I'm healed.

I added 2 new songs to the songs that were already working for a perfect 20 min and 5 sec playlist!  I added a Korn and a Hollywood Undead song.  (don't judge)  They had the intensity I needed but slower in beat.

Harvard v Yale regatta is in the river here in town. 1/2 way between both schools. Lots of solos out in the morning on the local coves and Mystic river.
