Just how often do you change your avatar? I think, in the 2-3 months I've been on BT, you must have changed it at least 5 times? He just likes to keep everyone on their toes, and most of the guys won't wear 4" heels. Don't my cowboy boots count? Please tell me you don't really wear cowboy boots... Sure do. Not all the time, but I do wear them. Had them for close to 18 years now. I am technically from the South. (Oklahoma) Holy crap. I have some buddies that started wearing them. I'm almost embarassed to be seen with them. Reason? They look like morons wearing them. NOW, they even started wearing cowboy hats too.... And that is a problem, why? They look like absolute redneck hillbillies. Ok, Ryan. Let qualify that statement... They look out of place in PA as there is not a large cowboy popluation nor many ranches as found in other parts of the US. Not all cowboys or people who dress as cowboys are rednecks, and certainly not hillbillies. Exactly. I wasn't saying cowboys are redneck hillbillies... I'm saying that by them dressing that way, they look like redneck hillbillies in PA. So how do you tell the difference between the two? Talk to them. Right. And how quickly do you make your mind up that they are one or the other? |

But I went to college at a small university in Nebraska and there were lots of real cowboys there from the cattle farms and women LOVED a lot of them. I dated a guy who was a couple of inches shorter.... it didn't really seem like a big deal. Everyone else I've dated has, mysteriously, been about three inches taller than I am. I may have mentioned this previously somewhere (getting old is such a beyotch) but I dated a girl that was 6'2" in college and she'd wear heels when we'd go out. Didn't bother me or her. It was kind of cool, like I had an blonde Amazon bodyguard. Anne, are they calling for rain over there tomorrow? We have a 60 % chance of t-storms! Cool. My first real California rain, perhaps. They are, thank goodness! The t-storm forecast is rare, though... we hardly ever get thunder around here. Maybe once a year, if that (moving to Houston was a big change in that respect...). Anyway, they're forecasting about a quarter inch of rain here. AWESOME. |

I had two pairs I wore in Mississippi that I shipped out here, and when I was going through my boxes to cull stuff for Goodwill and ASPCA, The Blonde looked at them, said "Ewwww... no one wears 'em here except for Mexicans and gays" and into the donation bag they went.
