Everyone's still online. When does this thing get started tonight?

stalker.

I just need to know where you are at every minute of every day, Tim .

BT, duh. no seriously they are all running late... there's a shock. I'm only 5 mins. from this place so I'll probably head soon. any predictions for the dance-off?

eta: I cannot make a prediction since I am supposedly a judge.

I already had three drinks, slakey already flashed doc in a zoot running skirt and sports bra, turtle beat me and smacked me on the til I bruised and we ran 2.5 miles. Scweet.

Getting ready and we should be there in 20 or so.

I'll probably get there before you guys.  I actually packed a collared shirt.  I am not wearing my sports bra, though.

Does wurkit know your status? And, of course, the rest of the gang. But, I would feel bad if she's there and you guys aren't.

Who won? I went to bed at 10 and the last I heard Shelly was winning (I didn't even know she was in the contest) and the music was too loud for NL .

There really wasn't a lot of good danceable music. So I guess Slakey won. But there shall be a rematch. I don't really care because I know I'm good and I know that I was voted against just to spite me.

actually, music got better at the end of the night.  The second band is much better...a good rematch would be when Burnt sienna comes to play.  Or we can say the hell with Nova and go to DC.

I know I am just a lowly lurker and all, but judging by all the posts in this thread and the Halloween/MCM thread, I will emphatically say that there's no WAY that what you say could be true, Wurkit!

Maybe you were given a handicap by the judges, given your extensive training at a formal institute of fine arts?

Based on the dancing that took place, I think it's fair to say that Slake won.  This is not because we are out to get Wurkit, but rather because she was afraid to display any versatility.  If they hand you lemons, Wurkit, you gotta make some lemonade.  On the other hand, it appears that Slake would dance to a lullaby in an elevator full of nuns if given the opportunity.

Survey says:  Slake!

What he said.

Also, kudos to Z for going bowling before the dance-off.  And for wearing boots.  Z was the hot judge.

Please...not a whole lot you can do to DMB. Slakey used the same moves over and over...that's not exactly versatility. No offense, Slakey, you have some sweet moves. Rematch - at a place where there is REAL booty-droppin' music.

If hippies can do it, slutty farm girls should be able to as well.

I dunno. I think some pretty sweet moves can be put to Ants Marching. Of course, you do have that "gay" (her words, not mine) fiddling music to deal with at the end .

I heard from A-1 cycling about the maintenance clinci and they offered 27 January at 1830 at their store.  The store will be closed and they can accommodate up to 10 people and it will cost $15 a person but everyone will get 20% off anything purchased in the store.  I told them we were looking for basic bike maintenance with something between changing tubes and replacing bottom brackets.  Let me know who is interested.

Z, it is OK to admit that you are an avid bowler, and keep your bowling ball in the trunk.  There's nothing wrong with bowling, don't be embarrassed.

Yeah, but bowling in a short dress would really be embarrassing!

Thanks Amy for making the guys dance???  What??? Are you serious???  If I recall correctly (and I know I do), it was ME who dragged everyone onto the dancefloor while the band was playing "Shout!" and we never left after that.  So you can thank ME for making everyone dance.

Okay, I'm done.
