Really should be thinking about bed around now, however it annoys me we are only 196 posts ahead of the Ghoulies, it's such an odd number

Page 53! You guys are the best. After posting by bedtime wish of page 53 last night I wondered if I set the bar too high and felt bad because there were only a small handful of hours remaining. Good job!

rh8463 - 2010-10-08 4:20 PM My bed time wish will be for it to STOP RAINING! I have become such a fair weather runner after moving here. Living in the UK I would run in the rain 75% of the time but in Australia, the slightest hint of rain and I find an excuse to do something else instead...

I just bought a treadmill due to the recent weather

I would love a treadmil and a spinner in my basement. I know that I should use my bike on a trainer for indoor training, but I don't yet own a proper bike or a trainer and I read that many trainers are crap compared to read outdoor cycling. At least with a spinner I would have proper control over the resistance and be able to get a hard workout. Any thoughts?

I have a gym membership and its only a 5min walk from me, plus theres mt indoors and so on....
To be honest I usually use the rain as an excuse to go to the gym and do a fun and girly aerobics class of some sort - they are my exercising guilty pleasure.

That's the other thing I'm considering since buying a treadmil and set up for indoor biking aren't financially possible at the moment. I have an interview tonight at a physiotheraphy clinic that is inside of a gym... sounds like free gym membership!

I have a trainer that is pretty crummy...as well as rollers that I am askeerd to use (bad fall from them last winter).  I hear the KurtKinetic (think that's the brand) is the boom diggity trainer though and worth the $$

I will write that name down to save for when I get my bike.

Entry level decent bikes are $1000! That's news to me since I'm used to $300 mountain bikes from Canadian Tire. I have a lot to learn.

I found a $350 road bike at Canadian Tire... I know... Don't buy it.

Winter is coming and that would save me $ for gym membership and travel inconvenience to and from the gym! Fingers crossed that the job and ppl there are decent, and then secondly that they like me.

cottoneyes - 2010-10-08 12:52 AM Maybe we should get to page 85, start the second thread and do another 40 pages and see if they notice.

Then they'll think their ahead of us but we'll have in fact lapped them

THAT would have been amazing. I don't think it would have been possible with only 3 or 4 people online (and some at work for that matter).
