I just got done packing my bag for tomorrow morning. Masters swim at 5:15. Will be in the office by 8:15. Darn commute.  On Friday's everyone wears jeans. Nice.

Boooooo commuting...I feel the pain too. Oh well...I live for free at home and my commute is probably nothing compared to the traffic you have to deal with!

I'm a morning person, but BEING somewhere at 5:15 is even too early for me.

How's the new job going, Kim?


So far, so good. I get up at 4:30. Leave the house at 5am. Arrive YMCA at 5:15. In the lane at 5:30. Out of the water at 6:30. On the road at 7:15 with coffee in hand. The key is that I get organized the night before.

New job is good. I am working with some really good people.

I would live for free at home too if it was an option. My commute is approx 60 miles each way. It is reverse traffic, so that is good.

I probably shouldn't let you know how long my commute is.  I will say it's slightly longer than the 2 miles it used to be before I moved

Ooooo. So I went to the craft store and bought stuff. How I have decided to make my dress AMAZING is by making a belt, vs. Redoing it all...but I'm still making it strapless. So I bought some "stuff"...its a surprise...haha. (I cant really describe it well...its in my mind right now...)

My kids got their report cards yesterday.

My daughter has a speech impediment and struggles with reading. She tries very hard, but it's not easy for her. She got an A- in Reading. The she did well with the rest of her grades, too. Her teacher showed me some of her standardized test scores. She tested at a second grade, 8th month reading level. That's not bad, considering the test was taken during the second month of second grade. Her math score was at a 3rd grade, 9th month level.

My son. My son is very bribable, especially with money. I told him before school started I would give him $25 for every report card he makes Distinguished Honor Roll (straight A's). I will give him $10 for every report card he makes Honor Roll (A's and B's). I have never been so happy to give anyone $25!
