Sup Cord and Yanti. Last day of the week for me. Yay for Canada day.

Made cookies last night. That was an experience...

SEND ME SOME!!! Other BTers have and they arrived in fine form. NOM NOM NOM

You've never made cookies before?

Haha, yes, I've made cookies before, but not in YEARS, and when I did, I had electric mixers, a cooling rack, followed the recipe and wasn't a few beers deep.

They turned out alright, though.

Did you put beer in the cookies?

It'll kinda work instead of baking soda if must needs be.

I once crushed up a bunch of Alka-Seltzer because I didn't have baking soda for the cookies. They weren't bad!

Morning, Kate!

So to all the Americans (so far, it looks like Cord and Kate), what are you guys up to for July 4?

Spending the day with my friends at my buddys house drink'n and eat'n. He lives about 900 m from the beach and they do a big firework show over the water.

We're attending a barbecue on Saturday after Monica's triathlon. All the 'Muricans, Brits, South Africans and the rest gather for burgers and beer and fireworks and such. Oh, and of course, washers.

I was very close. I didn't know it could replace baking soda... Good to know. I was just gonna put a bit in for flavour, but that's a handy tip! Granted, of course, now I have a big box of baking soda...
