Since we're going to use Google Spreadsheets, I'm thinking about increasing the size of the teams slightly. What do you guys think? If I do that, should there be two captains per team? Or maybe a captain and an assistant capt.? How many people would that end up being on each team? My guess is that it will be ok with bigger teams and you probably won't need another captain. It's a lot easier with the google spreadsheets to get everyone's totals put together. There are fewer people that the captains have to update. |

My manager is furious about it... now what? I think the world is out to make this job decision tough! |

I think the world is out to make this job decision tough! just to make sure I understand, your pay increase was approved, but you won't see it for another 6 months or so? I have to talk to the boss yet... my manager was letting me know the situation as a courtesy... (he probably wasnt suppose to!) But.. here is what Im thinking... my contract is on a two year term that ends in June... so I can use that to force a slightly earlier (than everyone else) review anyway so instead of 6 months its more like 4 months away... But i also want in writing what the exact pay increase would be then, and then what is available on top of that if I mean x,y,z etc because the increase is really to compensate for the past 12 months... not the next 6 so.... I need a title bump... not sure how to negotiate that but Im sure I can weave that in... and I want the training but not just anything.... with a really good 'looks good on a cv firm' which I know is already budgetted for anyway!
Not sure if this is enough but thats really all I can think of that I can do right now.... |
