It is a redneck wedding. That is what the bride and groom are calling it. They told us to dress in camoflauge. WTF? I don't own anything camoflauged. I don't even know how to spell it Can't wait to drive three hours for this. If y'all get a chance, stop by SuzanneS's blog here on BT. She crashed on her bike yesterday, broke her collarbone and now her dreams of IMCDA are over just 9 days before the race. You guys are the most supportive group on BT. Maybe you could cheer her up and show some love. Suzanne is an awesome person. Even with all the crud, she is still thinking positive. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIX Today, I figured out why I hate cleaning my house so much. I spend a lot of time cleaning at work: cleaning incubators, water baths, my bench, lab dishes. The people I work with are not as much of a neat freak at work as I am. It's hard to have a messy lab when it's fairly small and there are 5 people working there. Makes me not want to clean at home... |

It's hard to have a messy lab when it's fairly small and there are 5 people working there. Makes me not want to clean at home... I don't like to clean at home because it is worthless. If I do an all-day cleaning (which is needed now, possibly two full days) all that work is wiped out within three hours (at least in the play room and the kids' bedrooms). I turn into some kind of Nazi screaming at the kids and barring their friends from entering the house. Of course right now, I'm not allowing friends over because I'm too ashamed of the mess. I guess I just hate cleaning, LOL. |

Some words of wisdom from my coach: Everytime a negative thought goes through your head, think FLUSH. You will FLUSH it down the potty. The race may be tough, but you are a whole lot tougher. Words of wisdom from me: There is no pressure in this race. Go out and do what you know you can do. You know you can swim a mile in a river. Doesn't matter how fast, slow or pretty. By hook or by crook, you will do it. And last, but definitely not least, HAVE FUN |
