Mila's starting a muppet revolution. Or something.

The muppets already won the revolution. So it must be something.

I can see why they won....

Good evening, Nibbs. I've got one load of laundry left to wash, then I'm done. Headed to Atlanta tomorrow. Judi, I know you will appreciate this. It is a redneck wedding. That is what the bride and groom are calling it. They told us to dress in camoflauge. WTF? I don't own anything camoflauged. I don't even know how to spell it Can't wait to drive three hours for this. If y'all get a chance, stop by SuzanneS's blog here on BT. She crashed on her bike yesterday, broke her collarbone and now her dreams of IMCDA are over just 9 days before the race. You guys are the most supportive group on BT. Maybe you could cheer her up and show some love. Suzanne is an awesome person. Even with all the crud, she is still thinking positive.

Does this mean you're trying to move up on the BT User post padding List? 'Cause you'll have to pass by Cat before you get to me.

I passed Ron earlier this week, so I am moving up. Albeit very slowly. It's a lot harder when you're fairly high on the list.

Especially since those of us high on the list are already post padding so much already contributing many meaningful posts to BT.

Poor Cat. She's missing out on all the post padding wonderful discussion today.

Imagine what her post count would be like if she lived in a US time zone.

Ummm something like Scotts I would guess... or more since Ive been on BT longer...

Its saturday here and since there is NO food in the house i think Im going to have to go outside to get some breakfast....

There's no food in my house either. I think I'm gonna hit Dunkin Donuts on the way to Atlanta tomorrow. My food free-for-all will come to an end Monday morning.

Today, I figured out why I hate cleaning my house so much.  I spend a lot of time cleaning at work: cleaning incubators, water baths, my bench, lab dishes.  The people I work with are not as much of a neat freak at work as I am.  It's hard to have a messy lab when it's fairly small and there are 5 people working there.

Makes me not want to clean at home...

I don't like to clean at home because it is worthless. If I do an all-day cleaning (which is needed now, possibly two full days) all that work is wiped out within three hours (at least in the play room and the kids' bedrooms). I turn into some kind of Nazi screaming at the kids and barring their friends from entering the house. Of course right now, I'm not allowing friends over because I'm too ashamed of the mess. I guess I just hate cleaning, LOL.

I just ate a piece of frozen pound cake I found in my freezer. 20 seconds in the microwave and it was pretty yummy.

At least I don't have kids...just cats and a husband for messing it up once it's clean.  They do, but it takes longer than 3 hours.

Some words of wisdom from my coach: Everytime a negative thought goes through your head, think FLUSH. You will FLUSH it down the potty. The race may be tough, but you are a whole lot tougher.

Words of wisdom from me: There is no pressure in this race. Go out and do what you know you can do. You know you can swim a mile in a river. Doesn't matter how fast, slow or pretty. By hook or by crook, you will do it.

And last, but definitely not least, HAVE FUN

Thanks, Pam...I really needed that!  Better go to bed since I have to be there at 8AM...yeah, and I'm like the last wave cause I signed up for the slowest possible wave I could. (that way when I do better than expected...like enjoy it and relaxfor a change) I'll be crowing like a rooster at dawn about the accomplishment...

guess I shouldn't have looked at the web site but I needed directions and to be sure of the race time since their e-mail was vague--would have to be with three separate race venues running at once...
