Got my peach today.  I had my bike fitting done and spent some time on the trainer.  I am supposed to run 30 minutes today but my legs feel like lead so I am thinking of blowing it off.  I don't know though, I've only run 9 miles this week.  Seems lame.

Sorry I haven't been posting or inspiring people much lately.  I am finally starting to feel better, so I will be back to doing that.

I'm also going to try an easy run and bike this weekend.  Hopefully my lungs cooperate.

But when most of us feel better, isn't that when we get busy and have no time to post????

I've sick enough that posting has been too much work.  Amazing, I know.

You poor child.... impt to not contaminate the keyboard... make sure you disinfect

GLAD TO HEAR YOUR BETTER!!!!!

I did spray down my keyboard, desk, and mouse with ethanol this morning.

YOU KILLED YOUR MOUSE???? poor pitiful mousey!

Okay, I'm trying to learn to get up and run in the morning before I do anything else.  I acutally managed to do it this morning.  Yeah!

I will learn to like running!  I will learn to like running!  I will learn to like running!

If I say that often enough, maybe I will do it.  LOL

I love running first thing in the morning.  It just starts my day off right!  And if the rest of my day goes to cr*p (as it does quite often!), then at least I got one workout in.

But I think this philosophy works best if you are a morning person (which I am).

I haven't been posting much but it has been one of those weeks. I am peachy so far and already have 1/2 of my run in today. The legs are screaming at me (first week back to weights and some kickboxing). The other 1/2 of my run this afternoon should be fun.

Happy Friday Peeps.

I think my youngest son, Liam (almost 5), is having growing pains maybe.  He woke up this morning and couldn't walk.  He now can hobble a little bit but still cries when he has to move.  He says his calves hurt.  Anyone have any insight??  He even stayed home from school.  Unheard of for him!

Was he maybe running in his sleep?  That's the way I feel after going for a long run.

Seriously, poor baby.  Growing pains are no fun.  I know they can often keep kids up at night with the pain.  Nice warm bath might help them feel better for a while.  Otherwise I don't know what to do either.

Medline directed me to the following site.

http://kidshealth.org/parent/general/aches/growing_pains.html

Thanks for the link.  I think I'll call the doctor if he isn't better tomorrow.  His calves hurt which the article says is normal for growing pains but he's also limping and sleepy which it says is not normal.  Huh.

He didn't do anything out of the ordinary yesterday so I don't know what to think.

I am home from making green eggs and ham with Cole's kindergarten class.  It smelt AWFUL!!!  Like gagging bad.  The kids enjoyed it but GROSS!  Then after Mrs. W, some aide, and I read Dr. Seuss books to groups of the kids.  My group was the biggest.  Heh!  Good times!

oh dear me.  poor thing.  my youngest son would get these sorts of pains all the time, usually in the middle of the night.

massaging seemed to take care of it.

so sorry he's uncomfortable.  that just stinks.

DIT-TO!

By Tuesday I was already ready for the weekend.  I was so fed up that I blew off some responsibilities today to just sit on the couch, watch a movie, and sip some coffee.  Not at all grown up behaviour but it's no fun being responsible all the time!

Nah.  I use 70% ethanol for cleaning things in the lab all the time.  My mouse works just fine.
