Artemis - 2010-01-31 7:42 PM Guess who has a snow day tomorrow!!

<-----THIS GIRL!

I am jealous.  I sincerely doubt my employer will call a snow day tomorrow. I am on vacation from Tuesday through Friday though.  Headed to Savannah on Wednesday morning!!  In laws will be here with the girls.  Guess I'll be finding cigarette butts in my yard this summer (ick....least it's not the house!)

VCU almost never closes, so I am really surprised.  Could you take tomorrow off or call in with car problems?

Hope you have a good trip!  Sounds like fun.  Although cleaning up cigarette butts is not fun.  Would they use a can or jar if you left if for them?  That's what my friends do when they come over.

I have a limited amount of PTO, since I was sick earlier this month I need to be careful or I won't have any time when it comes time to go up to NY and clear shyte out of my mother's house....She finally agreed to an assisted living and will start getting ready to move in over the next few weeks.

Not sure what I'll do about the inlaws ans the cigarette butts.  I think they'll be in the driveway mostly.

Well, that's good.  I'm glad she finally agreed to move out.  That should be less stress for you.

Much better today.

I did find out that I have an eye infection - my vision in my left eye is horrible even with glasses right now.  And, my knee problem got cleared up.  My ortho thinks it's a problem with the patella tracking and it should clear up with strength training and a knee brace while running.  I'm icing it now so I can ride the trainer for awhile.

Nice! I haven't added mine yet.

But I just found this, and think it's worthy of sig line status:
"Don't be a whiner. Nobody likes a whiner, not even other whiners."

Hopefully not.  It feels a lot better after the icing.  I bought a knee brace compression sleeve thing, but I bought the wrong size.  Need to exchange it tomorrow.

Are you seeing a physio/sports doc? Get them to show you how to tape the knee cap... its ecellent when you are having dramas... takes the pressure off and gets everything moving in the right direction... at least it did for me...

I saw an orthopedic doc today.  I do follow KT Tape on Twitter and they offered to show me how to tape my knee before on Twitter since they have an office in Richmond.  I might have to check into that.

Excellent! Well wortgh trying... especially while you are healing... having everything forced to track correctly initially will so help with the inflamation and pain... well I hope it does!
