OK, I don't usually do "toppage" posts -- but that "driving dogs and flying cats" post needs SOME kind of recognition!

We have a new kitten this year...  I'm dreading the number of times we will have the upright the tree this year!

I'm just doing a quick drive by...  got in a quick run on the dreadmill tonight.  I almost hesitate to call it a run, with all the coughing and wheezing, but the intent was there, right??   Now off to fold mountains of laundry so tomorrow and the weekend can be devoted to birthday planning and birthday celebrations.  Ahhh...  to be a kid again and WANT a birthday!!

If you can't live without us then what happens next month?

I still like birthdays. I don't like to make too big of a deal but I still like to do something. I guess I'm still trying to make up for not really having any kind of birthday recognition growing up. Birthdays were never a big deal growing up plus mine were always overshadowed by Christmas. I swore I wouldn't have a kid around Christmas and guess what happened. My son was born in December. I tried to overcompensate to make sure he wouldn't feel bad or overlooked.

Looking at your avatar, I don't really see how they could think that.
