Definately different!

Keri had her first softball game of the season last night. She had a nice hit, she walked 3 times, she drove in 3 runs, and she struck out once. They won 10-7. She caught for 4 innings then the bottom of the 5th inning, she was playing 3rd base, the pitcher had walked in 4 runs (there's a 5 run rule) the coach put Keri in, with bases loaded, to pitch. She was tired from catching, and only got 5 warmup pitches. She walked the girl, a run scored, and the game was over. The girls looked pretty good though, I hope they have a good season.

Caleb has a soccer game this morning. He's going to be in the goal again today. He's not bad, a little rusty, he hasn't played Keeper in 2 years. GO TEAM!

Wow, I must be in the middle of tennis season.  I have played 4 times in the last 5 days.  Won two, lost two.

Today is a day of errands and hopefully gardening.  Working this weekend and hubby is doing two motorcycle rides working at events, so he is going to be tired each evening when I get off.

How is your hip holding up?

The hip is about normal, LOL, meaning it does hurt, but not any worse than it has been.
Now the darn PF is acting up, so I'll be visiting the chiropractor to get that straightened out.
If it's not one thing, it is another.

Glad to hear they won the game. Kind of hard to step into pitching with only a couple of warmups and catching for four innings. Catching is hard work.

Work all weekend. Got grumpy at the hubby over the phone today. He is off on the motorcycle crewing for the practice walk for the two day, then he will be off on the motorcycle all day tomorrow for a MS ride. He called me wanting me to look up where the fun day is for another motorcycle chapter cause he was going to go up there after the practice walk today. I got huffy because that would mean over the whole weekend he would have done nothing but "fun" motorcycle stuff, no yard or house work, and next weekend we are gone all weekend with the motorcycle chapter. So I'm mad that I do stuff around the house on my day off and he just goes and plays. Grrrrrr. So he said he would go home and my comment was that I should not have even had to say anything. Now I feel like a shrew.

Not a shrew! Sometimes they have to have reality pointed out to them.... forcefully.

I got my Infinit yesterday. It was not what I ordered AT ALL!

I had made a custom blend. I was higher with the electrolytes, since I seem to have a propensity to dehydrate easily. And I had NO caffeine, my HR doesn't need any help speeding up. This one was low in electrolytes, and high in caffeine. All of the other areas were off, too. I emailed them but haven't heard back yesterday.

Wow, a girl runs a marthon and the whole world looks different, including BT! hehehe. I'm doing pretty well today, hoping to write up a race report later on. My main goals for the race were to finish before the cutoff times, and not hit a wall during the race, be healthy at the finishline and in the days to come. I think I have accomplished all of that! i also hoped to ocme in around 6 hours, and if I beat the 6 hour mark, that would be the icing on the cake! I didn't manage to come in under 6 hours, finishing strong and healthy was more important in the moment. But i did finish in 6:02:54. I have some amazing memories and some new friends, and I helped raise money and awareness for an organization that is doing SO much good...how could I ask for more?

Amy, being over by less than 3 minutes, I think you can say you did it in 6 hrs. You are awesome girl, and glad to hear that you are feeling good the day after. Way to go Ghoulie!

Morning Ghoulies.
I'll get used to the site, it will take a bit.
I am off for an allergy shot. I'll stop back in this afternoon.

Happy Monday.

Hope you aren't too sore, Amy.

Okay, I have figured out how to get the "fun" fonts and colors.

Yes, really I have.

Do you want to know how?

Go to Settings

Forum Settings

General

then say "yes" to use rick editor for blog and forum posts.

That is how.

Good morning Ghoulies!

After a weekend of rain and flooding, it is going to be nice to see some sun this week.  Not today, it is totally overcast, but at least there is no rain.

I am now trying to figure out how to put a link in my signature line.

Um, yes? I think it did. Oh well.

My stinky, wet shoes are stuffed with newspaper and out in the garage. Not that it's going to do much good for the drying process, it's 58 degrees, almosy 70% humidity and raining here today (still).
