Subject: RE: Pack of Werewolves Team Thread (TAN)Thanks for all the kind words folks. Iced it when I got home. Put on a wrap to compress it and elevated it. Then slept with it elevated. Swelling is down dramatically but it actually hurts worse today than it did the first day I twisted it. Going to really rest it for the next few days to see if I can run Banff. Never really expected to compete there, mainly because of the altitude, but I also don't want to DNS. Last thing I want to do, but I'm also not about to risk permanent or serious injury for a fun race. Today is the last day I'll be posting till Tuesday. Thanks Cat. For someone that is as competitive as I am, it was killing me not to reach that extra 1.5 miles, but things weren't feeling right and then my knees started to give me fits because I changed my run gait to account for the pain. All in all, a not so smart workout. Live and learn. |
