kns57 - 2007-11-29 10:36 AM Cat, when do you give the official presentation?

Monday afternoon, should be good.... this is the third one Ive done and its part presentation and part facilitiation.

Its the off site sales team so they are a tough crowd to get engaged with the various subject matter but I think this time they are really going to buy into it... or at least 'get it'... i hope..

They were a tougyh crowd last week!

Yeah, but you did so well with that one, you'll do great on this one. If they're all guys, wear your fishnets and they'll agree to anything.[/QUOTE

x2 on both thoughts!

Um. Yeah. Tell me about it. That's what I'm TRYING to do right now....

I just look for the posts with lots of quotes from others then read the responses back and forth.  I actually figured out Beth and Hector's plot on Sal by only reading one post.

Just scroll for the long posts, and read.  You'll get the jist.

Yes, I'm back from my meeting, they go so fast when no one shows up.

And Beth's notes help a lot.

Without Beth's notes we wouldn't know feel the need to go back and find specifics.

Wow - a girl could really like this place...wine, margaritas, a beer table, and a cheesecake hoarding slave driver who makes us do everything he says nice guy.

(You're right - it is more fun to talk about Sal when he isn't here.)

Kristen

Actually, I think it's more fun when he IS here. After all, he's on that "other coast" -- what's he gonna do about it?

Huh? I'm so crappy at geography, but what coast is Sal on???

Kristen

Oh wait. That would be Hector and Scott.... Sal is in some frozen, but oceanless, place, isn't he?

barqhead - 2007-11-28 7:22 PM Bad, bad coaches! Sorry you had to be there, Heather.

Oh, tonight wasn't bad at all.  It wasn't my meeting, I was just helping, and these were coaches of the little kids, so no practice sign-ups.  Only 110 total coaches and maybe fifty showed up.

Last night, however, the older kids with practice time sign-ups and two meetings for a total of 266 coaches and only 272 practice slots.  I'm normally a nice gal, but at those meetings I always seem to turn into a b**ch b/c of coaches thinking they are special and should have preferential treatment so that all their kids in the family can have practice at the same time.  If you're only head coaching one team, you get one time slot.

We are now up to a total of 3514 kids.  I think my sanity is shot.

Hi PAM!!!  Yeah, can't believe we're supposed to work at work?!?

Don't worry, no workout for me today, kind of having a a minor breakdown, felt really tired, so thought I'd take day off.

I only set two goals and think that I'm only going to make the run goal.... Hamburger and cheesecake at lunch I'm will have set back my weight goal... but hey I feel a little better, tired, but better.

Oh cheesecake, my favorite. Must have some. LOL

hey, isn't that Sal's favorite dessert as well?

I don't know why it's not everyone's favorite...

because there is pavlova, tiramsu and lemon meringue pie, and apple crumble out there too... then again Im a desert freak! Or maybe just a sugar freak

i'm not actually sure that

cheescake = cheesecake

in Sal's case - LOL

Well, Sal still isn't here. So we can still talk about him. Or maybe we should just hide his cheesecake.

Speaking of "desert" -- I'm out of Little Debbies. If I don't buy some more SOON, I'm going to have sugar withdrawal symptoms....

Agh it posted again, without me typing...

I'm already turning into that slacker who doesn't return voicemails.  28 tonight going back to Mon.  And I just returned a phone call from back in Early Nov, like the 2nd or 3rd.

Are those 10,000 lakes frozen? If so, they don't count.

Actually, it would be nice to live in a place with lots of water. Well, provided it's in the LIQUID form. Ice skating doesn't do it for me. LOL

Plum Creek, right? Or was that before they moved to Walnut Grove? (Hubby has read 5-6 of the series to Elder Monkey...I absorb some of the info by osmosis.)

OK, I don't like Pavlova's but I'm starting to feel like Pavlov's dog...

I'm not a sugar-craver (more of a fast-food binger, myself) but listening to all this dessert talk is making me sooooooo hungry. (And I'm out of calories and I have no Little Debbies. The closest I got is a Cliff bar! LOL!)

I'll take it in the form of snow.  (Just got e-mail today that ski meeting on Friday has just turned into meeting about skiing, b/c of lack of skiable terrain.    )

The closest I got is a Cliff bar! LOL!) Kristen

Want some spaghetti?  I'm eating dinner while still at work.

LOL!)

Kristen

Drink some sweet wine.

enders_shadow - 2007-11-28 9:16 PM Wow - a girl could really like this place...wine, margaritas, a beer table, and a cheesecake hoarding slave driver who makes us do everything he says nice guy. (You're right - it is more fun to talk about Sal when he isn't here.) Kristen
Actually, I think it's more fun when he IS here. After all, he's on that "other coast" -- what's he gonna do about it?
Huh? I'm so crappy at geography, but what coast is Sal on??? Kristen
Oh wait. That would be Hector and Scott.... Sal is in some frozen, but oceanless, place, isn't he?

true, but he is in the land of 10,000 lakes - so at least there is water - unlike Nebraska, which is just frozen and oceanless

Are those 10,000 lakes frozen? If so, they don't count. Actually, it would be nice to live in a place with lots of water. Well, provided it's in the LIQUID form. Ice skating doesn't do it for me. LOL

I'll take it in the form of snow.  (Just got e-mail today that ski meeting on Friday has just turned into meeting about skiing, b/c of lack of skiable terrain.    )
