I do remember the day that the caterpillars covered the school.  Now that was disgusting.  They were all over,  1000's of them and they made a mess when squished.

I never ate in the lunch room since that food smelled and I couldn't stand being that close to people eating with their mouths open.

How can anyone talk or eat with food in their mouth?

Ugh... My flight is delayed 1.5 hours. When I think about the sleep I could have gotten...

I remember sliding down Lucky Hill on the hood of a car.  Going down fun,  Dragging the hood back up, not so much.

Started playing baseball in 2nd grade and didn't stop until semi-pro.  Dang those guys were big.

I was a catcher until High School where I learned that second base is a whole lot more fun.

My dad helped build the little league fields where my brothers and myself played.

My dad coached my 3 older brothers teams,  but I don't recall ever seeing him at a game of mine.

That's not true, He came to one game when I was in high school.  I know he never came to a track meet, wrestling match or football game.

Anyway, back to 63.  I hated the catchers equipment that the team had so I got my own.  They had metal masks, big old loose (orange) chest protector and shin guards that weighed a ton.

My stuff was cool.  Magnesium mask, short black tight chest protector and chin guards I hardly felt.  I used these for a few years and the mask hung around for many more.

Its not so bad Lazy,  Just forget some things like:  Who was that little girl I used to chase around the playground?  I will never forget Wesley Hubbard in 2nd/3rd grade.  He was my "friend",  but I came to realize that the reason I got into so many fights was because he started them.  He was a little guy and had a mouth on him.  I couldn't let the older kids beat him up, now could I.

Guess I better go to that J+O+B thing.  I hope I have helped in the padding my friends.  Just think we still have the teen years and beyond....LOL.

45 pages of .... go to do some sports

Going to do a half-mary on october 5th!  Will be the first "real" test for me running-wise.  Who's excited!

Well kids, I got to the airport at 6:30 and it's now almost 10:30 and I'm still stuck here! I hate days like this. All sorts of time is being wasted

Got a short swim and a nice stretch/roller session in yesterday.

I felt so slow and tired in the water. I think I actually felt better/faster when I swam while I was sick, trying to figure out if I could do the tri I had planned.
