When you click on "Play Now" it opens up a new tab and it's Mafia Wars and the bonus just shows up....

Did anyone's properties change?

It seems to be happening a little more often now...

HUGE TIP!!!!  I'm surprised I didn't know this after over a year of playing...  I answered my own earlier question ofter research...

My wife was asking for help on jobs and getting it, but not getting ANY credit for the (job complete).  5 people would respond, and it would be 0% complete...

YOU HAVE TO LOG OUT IN THE CITY YOU ASKED FOR HELP IN!!!!!!!!!!!!

She would ask for help in Moscow, then go do Bangkok jobs and then log out.  She would only get progress in the bangkok jobs.  Once she logged off while in Moscow, she started getting % complete there...

I'm not sure how this will work out, since you just can't buy more properties, but you have to upgrade the ones you have...

I have enough cash right now that I can get the 1 Trillion award, which I might do and put all of it into upgrading the properties

but I"m really not liking it.  Since I was on the old system and had a lot of income per hour so it really benefited me. I'm not sure if it was the same for new people though

 I had around 800+ casinos and now I can only collect on them every 48hrs,  I think it equals out to what I was making per hour before. But you can't sell anything right now, so unless you already got the selling casino achievement you never will.  It reads that in the future there will be more properties to buy, but who knows

Is this going to fug me up?  I was just grinding away at 130million every hour and sitting on almost 500 billion right now...

I checked it out.  Nothing really changed.  It looks like the cost of buying new casinos (in the past) is about the same as upgrading...

I still make the same as in the past, and the cost to upgrade is the same as buying new ones...  It's a wash.

I did a little math and found out this:  It costs about 650 million to upgrade my casinos, and it only nets me 14 million every 2 days.  It would take me 90 days just to recoup the 650million I dropped to upgrade.  It's not worth it.

I think I'm at the stage is more prudent to sit on it and work on the enforcer boss, which is about a billion a pop to kill him.

I don't like it.  

Different collection intervals and not a buffer to keep building.  PITA

I had wanted to work up to 300i million/hr, but I'll stop at my 211 million/hr.

 I agree it's technically a wash, but I have to do something now,, where before I would go a couple of weeks before checking on NY.  It's says you can't sell anymore properties though. and there were achievements for selling.  the info link reads that there will be more properties to buy in the future. I'm hoping for something higher than the casinos, I've bought so many that it's too much cash for what I get back.    

It seems like it has taken me forever to get where I can get the 1 trillion achievement I'm having a hard time imagining this long times ten,   that's my only rational for bank and getting the 1trill achiement, then using all that cash to upgrade and hopefully get more per hour,   I"m right at 500 mil   and I'm wondering if I have enough to get it to 1 billion an hour

** edit .. ok I take it back it not an exact wash.. I was making 500 mil an hour the old way,, the new way I was at 472ish an hour.   I just decided to take the silly 1 trillion+,, bank it, then upgrade.  It's not like the old way where you could at least buy ten at a time before the price went up, now it goes up with every one..    blowing through a trillion took me from my new revised total of 472 an hour to 566 an hour... I feel used..

I'm SO close to finishing Moscow.  I'm on the finale...  23% done with the LAST job.  What sucks is that it takes 131 energy for 1% complete.

At did some math, and I should be done in 4 days.  NEVER to return.  THEN I can focus on Bangkok.  Meanwhile, I have been saving money, buying businesses, and fighting in B.

I have 1500/1500 for both factions, just about to buy the 350,000 business, etc.  I hope to smoke through it once I can focus on it.

Nevermind!  Didn't need any help.

Congrats on finishing Moscow btw... I am almost ready to breakdown and spend money to get the GF points to finish it.. But that is money I could spend on booze,,  hopefully another week or two and I'm finished with Moscow as well

I am SO jealous. I am almost done with Episode 5 Level 1 and just opened up Episode 6. I have a looooong way to go.

They added an option to change your character type!  It costs 15 GF points but as soon as I have them I'm going Maniac!  It claims Moguls now make more $$$$ on jobs, but I really need more energy to blast through Russia and Bangkok.  I can always switch back later to work on the $$$ achievements unless they take the option away.  But I would rather be a maniac for now.  It stinks that I just spent my 20 GF points on extra mafia members a few days ago...now it will take me awhile to build up to 5 unless I can win some randomly.

I just posted a wish list and I am in DESPERATE need of a heart tattoo!  Help out the girl in Iraq!!!!  Anyone?  Anyone?

I think the Heart Tattoo was the most difficult one to find. I still need it and know many others do also. I know though I got most of my drops on the first day then the next few days nothing dropped.

Question for those cruising along in Bankok. I am completeing Moscow first but am fighting like crazy in Bankok and opening and upgrading the businesses there. Have opened and fully upgraded the first two and am almost ready to open the 350,000 business and have the chance to  open both the Yakuza and Triad business where you collect items, kind of like Political Corruptos I guess. My question is do you need these items early on or in the later epsiodes. If early I may wait to open the last business and concentrate on those first since I am on the final 3rd mastery in moscow and hope to be finished by next week. But logic tells me to open the third business and the cash should come pretty quick to get to 600,000 to collect both of those.
