Last day of my rest weeks today.  Tomorrow I will get a little run in to get started again.

This morning I have two yoga classes to teach, then I get to take my 16 year old daughter to a riding lesson.  She's decided she wants to be a cowgirl.

Stacie,

Those cookies sound fabulous - enjoy!

BTW - Which bike did you go with again - I am sort of in the market

3 growing boys + 1 hungry man + 1 female triathlete = 2 dozen freshly baked chocolate chip cookies SMASHED to smithereens.

as for the bike,

the totally schweet bike you hooked me up with, well hooked me up w the link to the LBS selling the totally schweet FULL CARBON JAMIS XENITH COMP at a RIDICULOUSLY DISCOUNTED PRICE.

that bike?

they're all gone (from the LBS) just like the cookies.

though ive heard they have a bunch of tri bikes at RIDICULOUSLY DISCOUNTED PRICES.  www.biketek.com  let me know if you are interested.....

HAPPY PEDALING.
stacieb

Thanks for the linkage!  That was my main goal I am searching for a specific bike and it is a big secret

Specialized TriCross Comp!

some secret

ill keep my eyes peeled, BILL.

maybe i can return the bike finding favor.

good bike karma, always want some of that.

but....TriCross, what's that???  ive never heard of such a thing....Tri, yes  Cross as in Cyclocross, yes.  but TriCross......

best to know what i have my eyes peeled for.

HAPPY PEDALING!

oh crap.

here i thought i could come in on our thread and be mostly caught up.

SILLY ME.

i have to run, literally

40 min tempo on the plan for me.  im heading to the Y, though....its sunny outside (still nip, but thats OK)

i wish i was talented, focused, disciplined, astute enough to do a tempo outside....but alas, i get 'lost' in the run, forget what im doing, fall WAY OFF pace and screw the whole tempo run up.

the TM thinks for me, keeps me in line, focused, disciplined and astute.

as for talented.

alas.  i dont think ill ever be.  even as hard as i train.

BUT....

im the most consistent persistent athlete i know.

so there you go.

im off w my silly runnin' self.

RUN HAPPY EVERYONE!

Good morning Ghoulies!!!

Big weekend ahead here. We've got house guests this weekend, my son has a soccer game at noon, I need to sneak a 3 mile run in today, and we're having a big fall party this evening with our friends and family complete with bonfire and hayride. Tomorrow is pretty much the same thing sans the soccer game and the party will be with members of my husbands church. Good times.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and good luck to any racers.
