Drive by back from lunch and between assisted appointments. Did I miss anything good? Do you know what they call Belgium waffles in Belgium? What ever the Belgium word for waffle is??? Don't know you could be right but then they likely speak French the way Brazillians speak Portugese.
Things settling down for you yet? Is it time for me to come up there for a latte? Belgium has three official languages, Dutch, French, and German. A subtle insult in France is to ask you if you are from Belgium if you (as an American) speak French poorly. How would you respond? Say "no, American" and be the guy who doesn't get it? Or, I would probably say, "no, I learned from your mama". Yeah, that would work. Most Americans are flattered to think they sound close enough to be Belgian, so they don't get it. My wife and daughters are usually asked if they are British. I am not sure if it is an insult or not. |

Can't wait to swim at lunch and grind out 2 hours on the trainer in front of the Bears/Packers game tonight! Like you I am in search of "something". I really want to start a business or follow-thru with a couple of my business plans. I have so much free time without being able to go full throttle in S/B/R that is being wasted to the abyss of time.

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: TAN #181: Sneak atTANcking a new one ... I dont' know why I can't learn this lesson... It has happened SO many times. When I get down and stressed, just getting up and knocking out a few tasks, even if you don't feel up to it, makes you feel WORLD'S better! Why can't I remember that? I spent 30 minutes fixing my irrigation system after my run last night. That "fix" was weighing on me for almost three weeks and it only took 30 minutes and I felt such a good feeling of accomplishment. I even said it many times before. Feeling depressed or overwhelmed? It's baby steps. Just do 1 or 2 easy things on your list, and you feel so much better. Edited by Kido 2012-09-13 1:31 PM |

At first it intimidated me to have 15 people, who were done and rolling out. watching me struggle to finish but now I appreciate it when they come up next to me and encourage me to work harder .. or yell from across the room! It does make me work harder! We can all yell at you if that will make you feel better. |
