There is such a thing as free lunch! Eat a lot!

Bring me back a pickle please.  They always have pickles at luncheons.

I love pickles. I was eating a giant one on a stick when my sister and I got kicked out of Disneyland. Well, "escorted."

I'm sure you were just sitting there eating the pickle and not doing anything improper...

I can just imagine what for....  It is a "family" environment after all. 

You know what's strange?  My wife hates pickles.  It's strange because she's German.  Aren't they supposed to like stuff like Pickles, Bretzeln, Bier, und Sauerkraut?

OK, so she likes Pretzels, but not the other stuff. 

I love me some Sauerkraut. 

Mmmmm Kielbasa and Sauerkraut!!! Now I know what I want for dinner!

One of us had only one shoe on, and I don't remember which one of us it was, or what happened to the rogue shoe.

I much prefer dill.  Sweet are ok but give me a good, crunchy dill pickle to suck and nibble on and I am happy!

Ooooh - that sounds delicious!  I should tell Tony to make some, but I don't think he likes Sauerkraut which he really should like being 1/2 German and all. 

A good Jagerschnitzel with sauerkraut on one corner, cranberry sauce on the other, and mustard on the third corner. Then squeeze a lemon on it.  Side of red potato salad.  That'll make you wanna invade a neighboring country right there!

OK now I'm hungry!!!

I still have an hour before lunch.

I used to hate pickles and sauerkraut but as my pallet became more sophisticated, I enjoy the extra level of complexity those items add to things.  I adore a Reuben now or a Cubana with sliced dills.  Before, I would pick that stuff off.  HOWEVER, I still give my garnish pickle to the wife...

Hahaha! Thanks for reminding me--there are some books I need to order.

Taking my mom on the "last trip" to be able to see our family in Germany in early summer, also a recon trip to visit historical sites that have personal relevance to her.
