The kitties re adorable, but I'm a cat lady anyway...one of these days you'll see my babies (and that little black outfit...)

Wish me luck, I'm going to try to apply for that job again. The site wasn't letting me get through this morning when I tried

LMAO

the Nebraska coaching staff should have been fired even faster than immediately!

I'll be sure to include it in the next update - LOL

Presentation went well.  VP agreed with changing course on next steps, which is good, since I was in total agreement with that from the start...it was probably a little uncomfortable for my director, since he had different ideas.  I'll take it, though

Outta here...off to the dentist and a week off of work.  Not to worry...I'm addicted enough to check in periodically...

I really DO need to catch up on inspires, though...I've let them get behind because of Twisnibbins...

Hi Judi...I'm Far West End (north of Short Pump/295), unless I'm in Atlanta. Just 3 weeks from tomorrow & I'm home for good.

Great job on the Presenation Sal, glad it went well!  Hey, if there's a choice to be had, better the VP than the director - right? ;-)

We'll see you in our inspires (and on Twisnibbins :-)   )

Have a great week off - any special plans?

Beth!  Quit reeling me back in!  (cut and paste from my blog)...

Slept in...no workout...no cheesecake...just catching up on the Twisnibbins...

Big presentation to the VP today, then I'm out of the office until next Monday...

Dentist today at 2pm, 5K run on Thursday morning, Turkey Bowl (flag football game) in the afternoon, Thanksgiving dinner with friends, then more get-togethers over the weekend...

May not be a big week for working out...glad I got most of my swims and runs in early in the month...

kns57 - 2007-11-19 11:49 AM Writing posts on BT is way better than writing the two evaluations that I have to get done. Shiver me timbers, when will the world do away with evaluations and reviews. You get the same percentage here no matter how you are rated. Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!

my company already has done away with evaluations - for me at least, haven't had one in well over a year, the one b4 that was 5 years ago

Can I come and work for your company? Do they need any librarians?

LOL - sorry, we don't have any current openings for librarians

although I still am expected to do reviews for my direct reports - doesn't seem quite right does it?

Congratulations, Judi! You deserve wonderful things in life, and no matter how this particular one works out, as long as you keep taking the steps and putting it out there--as you well know from life and triathlon--the right thing will happen.

Yay!

Okay, checked library database and couldn't find the Sally Edwards book (did find lots of others though).

Has anyone heard of Christina Gandolfo... Found a book on Human Kinetics website for the Woman Triathlete.

maybe I should just try some of the free books at the library first...

Guess first, I've got to find a way to get away from this computer and MOVE!!!

Yes, I have the Gandolfo book, and found it quite useful. Not bad for a beginner, either. If it's at the library by all means make use of it.
