I'm sort of hanging around.  Got pretty busy and still haven't had lunch. 

So I'm seeing all these previews for the Dark Knight, and I thought about how far Batman has come since stuff like this:

Hm, I read that quickly, and automatically inserted the apostrophe. So it came out: Cat's dancing = scary. Just saying. Cat's saying funny things in bad grammar = funny. Has a whole different meaning that way! (Fortunately, Cat isn't here right now, because she's sleeping. )

No joke.  It's really hard to beive that Keaton pulled it off and Clooney didn't.  I wish Kilmer had been in the first two, though.  Jim Carrey completely ruined Batman Forever.

I'm so entertainment illiterate... I know who those people are.... but I thought Carrey played the Grinch, not Batman....

I think he hangs out with the Boogey Man and alligators....  have you checked the swamps lately...  he REALLY likes summer stinky swamps.... (I'm so glad I don't have to smell that anymore )

Where in Louisiana were you? 

Deep swamps....  In between Morgan City and Thibodeaux... my father was a commercial alligator and crawfisherman and owned tugboats... mom owned/managed trailer parks (yep we lived in one of maybe only 100 actually houses in a community with about 3000 households).  You had to drive through swamp roads to get to any major grocery store.  IN the summer the mud bakes and combine that with the local pogey plant, and your gagging.

He was the Riddler in Batman Forever.

I haven't made it that far south on the west side of NO yet  I stuck to the cleaner, less stinky, but still gator infested waters of the Tchefuncte up in Madisonville and Mandeville.  That buddy has moved down to Lafayette though.

rumor has it that the venue of my race next weekend might change - something about poisenous algae in the lake

hopefully it's just a rumor

But it would for sure only move, and not go du right? 

don't know for sure - there's been talk of both options, there is another lake that would be very suitable, in fact I'm pretty sure it is the original location of the event

at any rate it's a sprint distance, so I could du the du without too much trouble if that ended up being the case

I've really been looking forward to doing this one though so I could compare this year to the previous 2 years

I improved 2 minutes last year from the previous year - hoping I can do better this year (it would also be nice to not be last in my AG again - LOL!)

it will still be fun no matter what
