That works out here too.  If I miss a Sunday they all act so happy to see me when I get back.  

I've had to work hard for this choir, with my old church choir I was about the only tenor so I had to sing pretty loud all the time.  Here we have a bunch, so if I sing loud, we accidentally drown out whole other parts. 

Yeah, good quality tenors are a hotter commodity than good altos.

Already gave in today, twice actually.  Cookies with lunch and some candy in the afternoon.  I'm just so hungry still.  I saw a nutritionist a few weeks ago and they said I need to up my calorie intake so that I have energy to burn, but it's so hard to take in enough cals without eating a ton of junk food.

Naw, that's not what I meant. I mean, finding decent tenors is just exceedingly hard. Most women can at least fake the alto line. A lot of guys can't sing that high.

Eh, forgot to add the red font.  I know tenors are hard to find.  Basses just won't/can't make the switch.  And when they do it's usually not pretty.  That's one of the reasons why I've continued to sing as long as I have.  I also enjoy it, unless we're singing the Hallelujah Chorus.  That is an excessively hard tenor line that I can just never get without straining.

Yeah, it always seems that the tenor section is the smallest.  That's probably not true in big professional choirs like the Mormon and Harlem Tabernacle Choirs, but most other choirs, it always seems like tenor sections are the smallest. 

Probably a statement on how lame I am, but I've been missing sleep recently because Thundarr the Barbarian is on Boom at midnight. You'd think I'd just Tivo it, but no, I stay up late. . .

I sang tenor in our Episcopal church for a while. For some reason the tenor section was huge. Then my wife had our middle kid and I quit going to choir then we quit going to church (especially after the third one). We keep thinking we should go back, but there's always things to do.

You have that as well as the inscription from the one ring, correct? 

Can I ask how old you were when you got it?  Also, how intoxicated?  And you do realize that you need to provide pictures, right?

Hmmm...can't really say on the first two accounts, but how long were you together, and how long has it been since you split up? That will determine how soon is too soon - at least from a chicks' perspective

How about "What should I do with all the ex's stuff since she won't come get it?" Or "Just how vindictive will I feel on the day everything is finalized? Ruin someone's day vindictive or ruin someone's YEAR vindictive?" Or "How soon is too soon to get back in the game?"

Define just what you want to do by saying "back in the game"

Donate anything you can't use. No reason to throw out anything useful just because she won't come to get it.

Just how vindictive do you feel like being? I mean, this was kind of a surprise to you, was it not? How much of your time has this ruined? Maybe apply the same concept to your vindictiveness. Or just be happy that you'll eventually be in a better situation and simply part ways. Whichever seems to be the better idea.

Edit: Ok, so not so much a surprise.  Still, I think the same concepts apply.
