I grew up in Northern WI in a small town with a really oversized fish attraction. There is a big perch there but I was thinking more of a 5 story tall, 3/4 block long musky. WCPGWtcarlson78 - 2011-06-10 12:55 PM Big Appa - 2011-06-10 3:50 PM So it was productive for ya.I feel asleep at the end of our 2 hour meeting.. meh.
We are about to implement a huge new project with unfinished and untested software. When the meeting went to point were the guy had no more useful information and we were watching videos I started to doze off from all the food they fed us. I work for a call center for Tech's so it will be fun after launch. Hopefully it won't be TOO much of a cluster eff. Wishful thinking, my friend. In my experience (which, I admit, is rather limited in this area), if software is unfinished and untested, there will be MANY clusters which are effed.
It's not really that the software is unfinished but it's going from a small test to mass production. It will depend on how fast we can see trends and address them. Part of the system is voice recognition...... I see a lot of customers saying that it does not work when in reality it will just be their accent. Basically it’s like Chevy’s On Star but with a crap load more functions. Which means there will be a crap load more things that can and will go wrong on release. Job security. If they off shore the call center, the rep and the customer will both be, "1hat's the problem?" Damn lawn tractor would NOT start. I think a mouise family isn't happy I disturbed their nest and ate my wiring. I had to hand mow the lawn today. Suxxors. |

So I went to the office and demanded to be spoken too. Not good news. Hopefully not life threatning as long as I take care (I hope and pray), but not good. Master 1441 North edge of nowhere | Subject: RE: TAN #143 TANk Girl Rides Again. Good evening everyone (except Ms. Yanti) Selamat pagi Ms. Yanti I go to the western-edge of nowhere for a few days and I miss a lot of fun. The little bowl in the mountains that I'm in for this week and next just perfectly blocks cell signal, so I have to drive the hour into town to get on the 'net. Cheri, love the new pic. You had to know it would bring to mind peppermint candy and thoughts of licking the sweet...oh heck, I need to stop now! As for not showing your face, I have to call BS. The pics in your album show a face that matches your body exquisitely. Peter, Tremblant as in the ski area? I used to ski at Mt. Blanc every year for a week right around New Years with the ski club, and I missed out on a chance to ski Tremblant. Maybe the next time I live on that side of the continent. Monica, if you're still looking at bikes, I love the Beemers. I've never ridden a Ducati, but I hear great things about them. I love my R1200GS and would really love a HP2 Sport (I would get in entirely too much trouble with one), but I've always had a special place in my heart for the the boxer engine. My only complaint is the cost of parts on this side of the pond. If anyone else made a bike that remotely resembled the GS series, I'd go with something less expensive, but I LOVE my GS. Ms. Yanti, you said something a few pages back about kilting TAN. Does that mean everyone'll be wearing them? Am I setting a trend? Imagining the ladies here in short kilts is enough to encourage more scout breaks. Sadly I must bid y'all adieu. Back into the dirt and heat. At least we have satellite TV and a DVD player in the conex box we use as a kitchen and living room. No matter how bad things seem, they will likely get worse I mean, they could always be worse. |

Hey Heather, how's the best looking rock jock here? (I assume the pictures mean you climb, or were the rocks just for background effect?) I'm as well as can be. I get paid a little extra to endure living in a camper trailer for two weeks and wander around the desert looking at dirt. Could be worse. Doesn't help my swim, but I'll have 2 weeks to hit the pool daily before my second race. Edited by RBesecke 2011-06-10 9:42 PM |

Way down south almost right on the AZ/NM state line. Supervising some soil analysis on the Coronado National Forest and some ranches in the area. There's a conex box set-up with showers, and another with a small kitchen and a TV. Our air conditioning still works (I hope I didn't just jinx it), so things aren't too bad. I still have my harness and gear, but I had to throw my rope out 'cause it was too old. If I get somewhere where there are more climbers than just me, I'll get another rope, but right now there's nobody to belay for me and the rocks tend to crumble. I really want to move to Colorado! |

I never was a good climber, but I hate hights so it challenged me to get over it. I'm fine as long as I'm roped-up. Without a rope, I get too nervous. I'm also a weak swimmer and hate being in deep water. It's another challenge I'm working on. My first tri was in a relatively shallow, artificial lake. My next is in a deep lake, but it's a shorter distance. I was able to push through my fear for 500m, so I should be able to do it for 400m. Gotta sign-off, fuel up the truck and get back to camp. Y'all have a good one. I'll try to check back in before too long. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: TAN #143 TANk Girl Rides Again. How is it I run away to a tiny island where nothing happens, and to do nothing, and high adventure follows me wherever I go? Just spent 2 1/2 hours fighting a huge fire by hand. I'm pretty sure I haven't done that before. I think I'd remember. This island, in addition to having nothing, also has no fire control or management or anything ... and everything is made of wood and thatch. So it was basically me and a few dozen folks, anyone with a conscience on that side of the island at the time, creating bucket brigades, hauling water up from the ocean in any kind of container available ... I had no idea HOW MUCH WATER it takes to put out a fire, especially when it's spreading and there's a high wind, and to douse all the buildings of the adjacent properties (one of which was my hotel). Of course, this happened after dark. Kinda gutted now. |
