Kido - 2012-06-21 2:38 PM bored

My favorite color is plaid.

I am bored again too.  Actually was busy for a bit ... now ... not so much.

Creepy thing:  when your ex husband tells you that you are lookin' real good.  (shudder)

I hate it when my ex-husband tells me that.

I always find it interesting that I have ZERO attraction to a man that I spent 20 years of my life with.  Nothing.  If anything when he's nice or complimentary it makes me cringe and I don't know whatever attracted me to him in the first place.  Huh.  A pondering thing for sure.

Yeah, when things go bad, they tarnish everything...

Good thing for me, my ex (of only a couple years), I know why I liked her.  We got along great...  When her depression wasn't around.

I just had issue with her using booze and men to self medicate...  I still look at her and think she is pretty and fun to hang out with (when I even think about her now - which is rare).  You know, all over 10 years ago.  I think of her about as often as my 1st grade teacher...

I have no choice but to think about mine .. he lives 7 houses away from me.

Yikes...  I moved 2 states away, no kids keeping us together...  Just a memory...  I wonder how she's doing?

Do you ever find yourself wondering how to explain that to people.  Like your ex is a reflection of your judgement?  As you said, a pondering thing!

Seriously be weird running into them or passing them in the streets.  Or seeing them with someone else.  It's funny, you can not STAND your ex, but it still stings if you know they are with someone else.  I know people going through that.  Mine is so long ago, so it doesn't matter any more.

Denver...Geez, no need to go into deep depression and torture yourself like that.  You'd get over it...Oh wait, you meant you would want to go back to Denver!  Got it

I lived here first.  Then he and his girlfriend bought a house on the same street.  Thanks for that! And then he bought the same car are as me .. same color too.  Even my neighbors thought it odd.

That's a bit creepy.  Now if she looks like you and starts wearing the same outfits, look out!

My ex and I tried to play that "let's be friends" thing and talked about dating.  She described her boyfriend - Tall, engineer, black belt, volleyball player, outdoorsman.  I'm so glad we got past that "we're cool" with is phase and just moved on.

I was like, hmmmmm  sounds familiar...  doppleganger?  It seemed weird.

I guess we figured to not be enemies (which we never really were) we needed to force "friends".  Indifference is SO much nicer!  Rather than calling to check on how life was or the family and pretend like we actually cared.

lol, A blonde young hottie walked in the office.  Selling insurance I think.  Funny how all the engineers start "walking around" or poking their head out of the offices.

I'm sort of upset I didn't get a better look though.  I didn't have enough time to completely undress her with my eyes...  damn.

Maybe his take is that you are copying all stuff he does!    7 houses away probably makes it nice to keep tabs on your daughter though.  None of the "I am going to Dad's house" shenanigans

Hi TAN

Long time, no see - I've been actively trying NOT to spend all my time during the days sitting on the couch watching TV or on the computer... so far it's been mildly successful.

Big day in 15 more sleeps!

Hey Monica, yay for you.  Ya know you still have time to runoff to Casa Grande and look for some stud who is into motorcycles and triathlon.  I bet there is at least one there!

I bet there is at least one, but sadly Casa Grande is just too close to where the parental units are for 6 months of the year.  We tend to get along a lot better when we're on different continents, but different sides of a country should work as well.
