I'm not a TOTAL Bronco/Football nut, but I can't tell you how excited I am about tonight's game.  Denver IN Oakland (divisional game and favored by 11).

I'm going to order a pizza from a new place that just opened up, grab some beers from the fridge and enjoy!  PLUS I don't have "someone" asking if they can watch Glee or something else instead of football.  Some half time or post game pizza would be nice though.

Drunk Rock Band is the best!  The people that have the most fun are the newbies.  It's amazing, they start apprehensive, but it's ADDICTING!  Suddenly, everyone it totally concentrating and into it and really focused.  It happens every time!  Just pass the instruments and take a beer/wine break!

Plus I can show off my mad fake guitar skills!

When I started, I barely moved.  I was focusing on pushing the right keys.  But the last time I played it, I was playing with it behind my head and dancing around.  It really does make you feel like a rock star...

I'm sad ..I just realized that both of the guitars to the Guitar Hero aren't working. How will I Rock out now??????

You need some bat trees?

No. On one the red key doesn't work. And on the other the strum bar doesn't work. Grrrrrr. My daughter and I must have worn them out. I could restart Zelda from the beginning. Make it a marathon game play on Xmas.

I could lend you my Assassin games.  But you don't seem to be the Assassin type.  But you only kill bad people!?!?!  Well, you CAN kill good people, but they admonish you for that with some strong language.

I have not gotten a thing done today and I have no motivation to do so.

A week full of meetings and then one day where there are no meetings and nobody else in the office.  I'm gonna have to call it an early day.

I just finished eating and that sounds good enough that I'd be good with a second lunch right now.

Just downloaded Far Cry 3 last night... not the same as AC3, but it'll be occupying my free time this weekend.

Broncos-Raiders -- I'm interested mostly to see how badly the Broncos tear them up being that my Browns just played them, and still have to play Denver in a couple of weeks.

Kido - 2012-12-06 11:14 AMThe wife has an extensive network of people and agencies and clients so we get invited to TONS of things.  We bail on most of them and only go to the important ones (don't tell them).  If they are close friends we go, but if we are just going to be lost in the mix of a business get together, then we may pass.
I don't have the social network like youse do. But I get the lost in the mix. I am not in a relationship and almost all of my friends that do a Xmas thing are married and have mostly married friends. I not only feel lost in the mix but lonely. Most of my single friends feel like me ...and they just do stuff with family.

I've been invited to one gathering, and this is pretty much the reason I likely won't be going.  It's never much fun being the single person amidst a room full of couples.

ETA: I'm on a roll with being on top today!

That is the hardest for me too. They can be my bestest if friends and I'm totally comfortable with them ...but being around couples is hard for me these days. I don't always think people understand either. And the last thing I want to do is talk about being single or listen to all the advice coupled people want to give. It doesn't help. Sooo....not being in the situation is a win win for me!

Shoot my only advise is usually do what you feel is best for you.  Beyond that everyone's situation is different so I figure you are doing what you need to do for you, who am I to contradict that.

There is much more to the dynamic at times, mostly when the couples are not in the best place in their own relationships ,...won't get into it here but have experienced smugness, jealousy, innapropriate attention, fear, anger and superiority from the men or women in coupled up friends. Some women can't handle an independent single women. Some wish to be one and that scares their man. Some men act foolishly around one and that makes everyone uncomfortable. I'm sure y'all get what I'm talking about. Now back to bewbs!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah more trouble than it's worth just for the cookies!!

One of the women who works in the admin area has a thing for my husband who she works with from time to time.  I honestly think she is unaware how much it shows.  she got on the elevator with us on our way back from lunch and started talking to my husband.  She would sort of glace over at me from time to time almost surruptitiously.  I thought it was rather funny to watch and had a grand old time teasing my hubby afterwards!  That makes at least 2 or 3 women here who have or have had a thing for him.  I don't want him to get a swelled head.

Yes Bewbs I have!

Just started.  I had to finish Revelations first.  I thought I was close, but haven't played it in 6 months.  When I got back into it, I realized I was only 1/4 done so I'm anal enough to want to finish it before going to III.

So far, III is cool!  It's a bit different, but I like it.

Also, I heard Far Cry is good.

Know anything about Borderlands?  I may branch out and heard that game is interesting/good.

Borderlands is a GREAT game.  I've played it through twice now.  Used to do some multiplayer gaming with it. The only downside being that you could only get four people in the game at once.

It's along the lines of Fallout 3 (another GREAT game) and BioShock -- first person shooter type where your character levels-up and gains abilities.

The wife gets a lot of male attention and it's pretty obvious as well to me.  I like to sit back and just watch it unfold.  And if it seems to get a little TOO friendly, I may just stroll over there and for some reason, a 6'7" 235 lb husband approaching seems to sort things out.  Odd how that happens?

I tried playing COD with the ex BF a few times ...the POV made me queasy and frustrated. I did enjoy the killing part though.

Ok, I seriously laughed out loud...  (second part)
