It's a little chilly today, but I'm sure I can manage. I know I said I'd run today, but I've got a migraine. Moving the run to tomorrow and I am going to try to do a short trainer ride this afternoon. Don't beat yourself up -- migraines are a byatch (as my kids would say). Take it easy and I hope it goes away soon. |

Elite 3471 Evergreen, CO | Subject: RE: Running with Scissors So I have to share.... I'm very happy w/ today's race results. Hit or beat all my goals. So glad I switched to 10 miler. Realized I gotta get busy if I'm going to do a full mary in May -- gotta build that mileage!! But tempo run was a success today. I'm gonna go refill my pint glass now since I had to behave last night |

Well raced today (10k) and all went well...45 degrees and overcast to start...had a great course and great person to run with. Maintained my pace for about 3.5 miles and then sent SH on her way...she was getting antsey ...and about the 5 mile mark found some SERIOUS pace booty...kept up with that until almost 6 mile mark and brought it home. 63:29...not the fastest but I was stoked to finish that strong and feel that good.....then went for breakfast with SH and went home for a nap Hope everyones elses weekend is going great as well....keep it up you guys "for the scissors." |

No pace booty for me You probably would have enjoyed the view tho -- lots of chicas Now that I think about it, I prefer the duathlon/triathlon guys over the running-only guys. And now that I think about it further, far more females at running-only races this time of year than duathlons. Which may have something to do w/ my placing in the duathlon vs. the road run. Deep thoughts. Good sign that it's bedtime. It's almost Sunday and supposed to be in the 60s for our ride tomorrow -- woo hoo!!! Hasta manana Scissors!! |
