You may have know this already...

But, I was getting money per hour for my businesses in NYC without doing anything.  Sitting and collecting.  Now I have to go and physically collect them.  If they are ready, and I don't collect, then I stop gaining.  That sucks!  Since the changeover, I probably collected 3 times.  That's a couple months where I basically stopped getting money.

Now I have just another task to keep doing in what I thought was a closed city.

anyone spend the 9 GP's to get a key to open the mystery crate?  Get anything good?  I have about 50 of them but don't care to try and open one.

 Exactly..!!!!  i hate this way.. plus they all earn at a different rate, unlike the others that go for 3hr increments... I go in and only 4 out of 14 are ready, an hour later 2 more are ready,   it really sucks... PLUS  in the conversion I was right around 500mil and hour and it went down to 470mil an hour.   that really ticks me off

There are some super high level peeps out there,, I think it's just a matter of playing a while along with what you said about winning or buying GF points.  when I first started I subscribed to netflicks and recieved around a 100 or so GF points which helped a lot.    last month during a war I noticed a guy had 50+ of the items that you have to use GF points for which really amazed me,

I also hate it.  Going in to collect is about the only thing I do with NY now.  It just sucks that you can't let it ride.  I was totally on track to hit the $1T shortly before the change.  Now I figure I'll just do the boss job but I won't do that until I finish both Moscow and Bangkok...and I'm guessing by the time I finish both of those Las Vegas is going to be out to distract me.  I may NEVER finish the $$$ achievements!  Though, as soon as I can get 15 GF points I'm switching to Maniac to speed up my finishing.  If I can get caught up on the cities I may then switch back to Mogul for the $$$ achievements....but I NEED maniac right now...I'm on Level 3 of the 5th Moscow chapter and it's taking me more than one day to complete each job!!!!

 it was a tough choice since I had the 1T achievement in the bag, to either let it ride for the 10 T or take the achievement before they switched everything...  right now I"m very happy I just banked the 1T to get that then blew it all on more properties

it automatically builds a car every 24 hours, then you have to go to your NY properties page and "build".  what you have is the first level so the cars being built will be considered "common" - you will have to keep upgrading your chop shop by having people send you more items.  As you upgrade, you'll be able to build bettter and better cars

Yeah, I am probably going to keep working towards the 10T.  I doubt I'll ever see 999T now though...that's impossible if you can't just let your properties ride and collect without you having to do anything.

What do they give you.  Decent attack and defense numbers?  Better than what you can just buy anyway?

Interesting happening (that sort of pizzed me off).

I went to 'bank' some of my Baht and when I hit deposit, it said I didn't have it, so I hit it again, and it said I didn't have it...  AND the number was going down, and down, and down...

What was happening, is I was getting robbed/losing fights at the same time I was trying to deposit, so I never had the amount I wanted to deposit because I kept losing it in a fight.

Talk about a helpless feeling watching 40k of you money go while madly trying to hit 'deposit' and not having it work...

I put the guy on the hit list three consecutive times.  Small payback, though.

I think people that started a LONG time ago can get 'iced' and others get 'killed'.  Most of the time I get the big black box that says I ended someone in a fight.  But on occasion, it's just a simple line of text.  I have FAR more of one that the other.  Means nothing, I think.
