enders_shadow - 2008-09-09 11:47 AM I'm tired and I'm thinking of taking my 2nd day in a row off.

Looks like you're back into the swing today - nice run!

Artemis - 2008-09-09 1:12 PM I don't like taking Nyquil. It makes me feel hung over the next day. But it seemed like a good idea last night.

I've never tried Nyquil... of course the past 4 years it seems like I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding so tylenol was my drug option... It's hard now to remember I CAN take something and maybe even SHOULD.

sparco - 2008-09-09 2:30 PM 2150 yds swimming, 3.6 miles running today...I don't have a tri to train for...why am I still training?

That's what I'm tryign to decide... do I join a club to train through winter?  or just run outside in rain and cold and ignore the swim and get a few bike rides...

I went as a guest to one club today... can't decide if I'd like it or not...

I rode a bike where I could race against other riders.  That was fun - but it was tracking funny - saying I was riding ~13mph but then that I covered 5 miles in 15 minutes, huh?  That 20 mph, not 13.  dunno.

The treadmill also felt like it was reading slow, I FELT like I was running faster than it said I was.

Having not run/biked in a gym ever on a regular basis and last time using a treadmill was maybe 10 years ago at a hotel...  I don't know.  it was nice to be without the kids and just run/bike.  but it felt weird too to run/bike on a machine.  And certainly the bike setup is nothing like my roadie.

Hey team, I got in 4.13 miles of running in.  I was supposed to do 6, but I wasn't feeling up to it.  I'm going to try to get in another run tomorrow or Friday to help out this week's miles.  Sorry.

I never feel like it until about 2-4 miles and then it gets fun.  Oops, Enders do not read that statement.

And my son is out of school for 3 weeks because we are on a year round track system h ere for elementary schools. They go to school for 6 weeks, then they're off for 3 weeks. Things get tricky for me when I have either my niece or my son off track, at different times, because they're on different tracks. And my daughter's school is on a traditional school year calendar. Confused yet? me too.

Huh?  I don't run on a track just for that reason.
