And as an added bonus, FlyTheBlueSky is signed up for it as his next one (we both did Season Opener as our first, then Webster as our second), and he beat me by 2 measly seconds in Webster! If I hadn't been a moron and run the wrong way in T2, I would have beat him. Though, he's a much better biker than me, so I'm going to get working on that asap! Won't an Oly feel like a walk in the park after your HIM?  |

I couldn't find the official results afterward and nothing's online yet, but I think I finished 2:26:XX. A couple minutes off my PR but considering in was not wetsuit legal I'm not too disappointed. No wetsuits allowed? Was it just too warm? Yeah. Water temp was 82 this morning. That was down from 86 the day before Damn I have to use my water heater in my pool to have it that warm ... Heh, it took me a minute to realize that you meant a REAL water heater. (Not just a wetsuit heater. LOL) |

I was able to log in a couple times, but gave up trying to update my logs. I'll update them soon, maybe during lunch. I got back the Saturday, and had a race on Sunday. It was so much fun! Except for the 12 year old that passed me on the run, and the 70 year old that finished 3 minutes faster than me. Now I have motivation for my next race! Huh. A 65 year old finished 12 minutes faster than me. That is very motivating! Glad you had fun! Just about *everyone* finishes faster than I do. Regardless of their ages.... |
