Yes, that's exactly it! It will be tremendous fun, in ways you can't even imagine yet. Good luck, and have a blast. When the pain hits, as it probably will, revel in the joy of having an incredibly functioning machine of a body, and in the company of other such miracles around you.

And, surprisingly, it will all be over sooner than you think, so really do have fun in the moment.

The most extraordinary run I've ever had, for an hour and a half, puts me at 87% of my goal, which is EXACTLY where we're at in the month.

Coolness.

Morning guys.  Got my run done.  It wasn't a good one but it's done.  Every time I have a bad run, I always have to remind myself that they all can't be good runs or easy runs.  If they were, everyone would do it.

I dunno. I have lots of *slow* runs. In fact, they're all slow runs.

Maybe that's just because I run wog slowly?

Hm....

Morning guys!  Rainy here today.  Debating on running or not.  I don't know.....I'm only 7+ miles away from my goal so I know I'll make it.  I sort of feel like hitting the bike (trainer).  Shocker, huh?  Maybe I'll run today and try to bike outside tomorrow.  Or I could do both today.

It's supposed to rain on Halloween.  Yuck.  I don't want to be out in the rain while trick or treating.  Hmmmm, what to do...

Bribe the kids with candy and then take them out to dinner??

I've been MIA from my computer!  Updated my logs and the spreadsheet.  It's going to be close as to whether I reach my goal -- I have about 10 miles to finish at 100%, but only 8 on my training schedule -- I will try to get a couple of more miles in to reach the goal!

A soggy hello from Rhode Island team!  Lots of street flooding here today so I ended up on the dreadmil.  I hate that machine but needed to get a run in.  Just under 4 miles to finish my goal.  Updated the spreadsheet.  We are looking good.

Keep running reapers!!

Nice job Kathy.  I bailed and didn't run today.  It was sooooooooo soggy and viability was sooooooo bad that I just curled up and stayed in my house.  No worries, I will still make my goal!

Thank goodness my Y is only 5 minutes away.  I don't think I would have wanted to go far.  Hope your day turned out okay-sounds cozy at least.

In spite of my running injury woes, I'm making the most of it and have started hitting the gym - weights and actually a spin class. That seems to be fine on the injury. Still though, sure wish I was getting ready to race...

Good morning team!  It's been a crazy travel week -- from Florida to Missouri to Iowa.  I managed to get a couple of runs in hotel treadmills (ugh!), and the end is in sight.  I'm running a 10K race on Saturday morning, and that will put me at 100%.  That certainly wasn't my original plan, and it couldn't have been any closer!

It looks like our team is doing good!  Let's finish strong!!!

Yikes, that is a long week.  Hope you get home soon.  Traveling like that is no fun.
