Subject: RE: Penn State's mentor group - CLOSED!My training has been so hugely derailed by pulled/strained/torn ab muscles.. Although with the time off I haven't become faster or stronger I think eventually I'll come to realize that I'm a better athlete because of the experience. This whole IM journey will make me a better person, athlete, coach, etc in the long run and I'm very thankful for it. All that training in patience and perseverance! I've "rested" for a week...taken it easy when I do something physical and slept. A lot. I'd like to start getting back into training on Monday and when I do I will know to be very, very, very careful!!!! |
