My friend gave me coconut water the other day to try for the first time. Right when I was drinking it my female friend says it's all thick so you just have to swallow it quickly. I started to laugh and almost spit out the drink all over her.

basically, which is the best one out there as far as benefits go?   Interest Rates are interest rates so I am really looking at the benefits.  Not that I have all of the money in the world by any means, but all of the rates seem to be pretty close to each other

I fly Delta mostly so I have been considerting their card.

The redemption formula is complicated.  Short version-Each 5,000 miles that you redeem is generally worth $50 off on the ticket, except for cheap flights.  The discounts are in 5000 mile increments up to $1000 tickets then it increases to 10,000 miles for $100 discount.

If you put regular credit card purchases on the card, it just about guarantees that you get to Gold level each year.

 I don't have one, but we fly to Brazil a lot now so it probably makes sense.  The big deal con for me is the $95/year fee.

what is the truly d-baggiest way to let him know?  since you would be the expert.  not that i'll do it, but it might give me a chuckle.

i have a delta one only because i am silver medallion on delta, and the combo of the 2 is clutch.  you should pick based on the airline you fly/where you live, not based on benefits because if you live in charlotte, nc, a delta card will do you no good.

i would get a discover cash back for best rewards.  chase/holiday inn priority club has a really great reward system too.

Heh. I actually really like soymilk, but the sweetened kind makes me want to barf.

It's much easier on me than regular milk when my tummy's not so good.

Bank of America is running commercials for a new rewards card... 1% cash back on everything, 2% on groceries, 3% on gas. I haven't read the fine print but I've been tempted to switch.

I have a Capital One rewards card; it's the only one I've ever had. Got it with not much research involved. I'm not a big spender but it pays for a plane ticket or two every year...

Good TAN day to all.  Who else is just watching the clock until they have an "important" afternoon meeting to go to that will "unfortunately" last to the end of the day.

Not that I cannot go without them, but the kids haven't been on a vacation for a few years so I figure it would be nice for them.  That and I would be in some pretty hot water if I went to Florida in January with out them.  Rather avoid the fight

Is that coconut milk then? 'cause that's thick-ish and white Coconut water is pretty much just like regular water but a bit cloudier and sometimes a bit sweet. Fruity kinda taste.

It was in between. It was cloudy but kinda thick, not at all like water. It was good but just the line she said right when I was drinking made me laugh.
