Are you off today?

We are still having wet weather. Most of the spring it has either been raining, or at best just overcast here. There hasn't really been a lot of sunny days. That may change this week though 90's and sunny through Sunday.

She likes to watch softball, so right now TV is our best option. The WCWS is really the only time we see softball on TV. We did go watch some HS games. I never did get her in to watch a college game, it seemed like she always had practice when they had home games. We may try and go watch her pitching coach play sometime this summer.

When my daughter, or son, wants to do something I always think of this video. And then I let them play. I wasnt' allowed to play sports as a kid. I WANTED TO! I would have loved to! But my mom wouldn't let me. I want my kids to do everything!

Morning Ghoulies

Catching up furiously here from last weekend and getting ready to go to Fla to bring my Mom here for the summer. (That answers you Ann on why I haven't been here much). I kinda like the new site, now that they are getting the bugs out. It is easier to read in  a lot of ways.

Dee, I will look for your Mo-jo. Mine is playing hide and seek. I catch it for a bit but it wiggles away!

I wasn't encouraged to play sports either. Two major reasons: we were far from school so it was hard to get to practices for anything but mostly because I was a GIRL. Ptthththththtt on that! It sure would have helped my self esteem that it toon 49 years to find!

Melindy, if you show up.... Have a great race this weekend. In Hawaii no less! Dang!

Robin, did you send your Up back? Mine has been sitting on my nightstand for a week or so. I need to get it boxed up and sent back. I like the concept, but their product isn't quite ready for me yet. I got an email that the FitBit Flex is available, not sure if I'm going to get one or not. I did find the goals motivational, but if it isn't tracking all my activity...

I did send the UP back, Ann. It was just too much money for too little movement tracked. I made sure they knew I was sending it before I did. I already have the refund. They were really good about it.

Interview went well.  They allotted 40 minutes for it and we used all 40 minutes.  

I felt I was able to answer all their questions satisfactorily.  It was funny not being able to see them, and since they were all sitting in a room together, I could hear myself on their speaker.  That was funny.  It had a two second delay.  I also had some questions for them and I think they showed knowledge.  Anyway, they said it would be 2-3 weeks before they move onto the next step which would be an all day interview process.  Here's keeping my fingers crossed that I make it to the next step.  If not, nothing lost.
