Aikidoman - 2008-07-28 12:08 PM TAN is the definition of a hijack thread, no? I get surprised when a conversation can even span a page or two! (unless it's talking about food or sex - then we get about a dozen pages....)

But people expect that in TAN.

I got some really good peaches the other day.  They were conventionally grown so I'm sure they were sprayed with something bad for me, but there were on sale and tasty, so I'm not gonna be too fussed about it.

So, why the surge in pomegranat?

My wife had me prepare some pome daquiries for the party.   They were pretty good...

Guess it's due to the new knowledge of the anitoxidants....

ETA:  I also like the pome. vitamine water call "XXX".  yum

So I'm trying to figure out how to ask this without getting TAN yanked..

When observing RIOW (and using a left hand)..  Do married guys leave their wedding ring on or take it off???

Not a left hander here..  But I would remove...

There's a whole thread on whether or not guys wear their wedding rings, maybe you can ask it there? (j/k).  I would ask, what would make you ponder such things, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to know.

I can honestly say I don't know what it means, but I always felt it meant something (I find that's true about a lot of songs).  You are welcome to PM me the answer if you so desire.

Pom martinis were all the rage about a year ago..  I think Pomegranates are just getting their 15mins of fame..

yep - soon to be taken over by some brazilian Acia berry or something (not sure of the spelling).

Maybe someone was thinking ahead a thousand years ago when they made it traditional to wear the ring on the LEFT hand?

Screwed over the south paws, but sure made it convenient for the righties....

It was the wedding right thread that made me wonder..  All the guys that say I NEVER take it off..  My SO happens to be left hand dominant.. but prefers his non dominant hand for RIOW observance..  Most of the population is right handed which would make their non dominant hand their left..  I'm not sure if most men prefer their dominant or non dominant hand..  The whole line of thought just raised a bunch of questions in my mind...

wow....

In this line of questioning... shouldn't it be dominant/submissive?

Have wedding rings really be around that long.  I thought there were a more recent (500 or so years old) tradition?
