esc - 2010-10-20 12:42 AM I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere and I've just missed it...but, Yanti, is that tattoo in your profile pic your tattoo?  I really, really like it.

Of course it is! Thank you so much!

'Twas my spider, too.

I got my first tattoo this past summer and already want another one.  I've been thinking on the design for a month now.  I think this winter I'm going to have to go see an artist or two and see what they can do for me.

What what what? Don't be sittin' on it now! Inquiring minds and tattooed bodies want to know!

Current tattoo is a fish on a bike on my left rib-cage.  I really would like to get a pin-up like mermaid tattoo on my right rib cage.  And in sticking with the triathlon theme, I'm thinking she should be holding a pair of winged-sandles.

I ruv fish on a bike!!!

Mermaid--SNOOPER. Winged sandals--even better.

I'd love to get little wing tattoos on my ankles.

I tracked down a pic.  The artist did such a great job.  The cartoon-y look totally fits my personality.

HAWTTTTTTT!!!!

Oh, I like the tattoo, too.

No really--everyone thinks they have the latest and greatest--yours is AWESOME. Good work, great content, and definitely you.

What's with the Fraunch Frag? Or is that just a nice red-white-n-blue?

Ha!  The french flag is totally unintentional.  I wanted red, white and blue but didn't really specify how I wanted it.  I walked out and The Dude (who is in the US army) says, "What's with the French flag?"

Ghoulie Crushers! I'm no longer the unemployed Ghoulie Crusher!

I went to the second interview for the clinic inside of a commercial gym today. After completing a scenario based interview I was told that I was the favorite candidate from the first interview and my scenario skills further proved my ability.

I was offered the job on the spot, which caught me a bit off guard and had me thinking about the other two opportunities possibly available to me at the moment. I accepted and hope I made the right choice!

rh8463 - 2010-10-18 8:59 PM Mmmm, I just had leftover lasagne for lunch and it was so delicious that it almost made up for the crappy work week I have been having so far.

Mmmm lasange. That sounds tasty. I think I even have some in the freezer. I think I know what I'm having for breakfast now.

I'm happy to see another atypical breakfast food eater here. Other than oatmeal I rarely eat "breakfast food" for breakfast and get irritated when people criticize my breakfast choices week after week. You figure my family would be used to it by now no?

I see no problem with lasagna for breakfast.

esc - 2010-10-19 11:26 AM Hi there Crushers!

I'm being a big slacker on my day off.  Anyone want to come over to my house and clean the aquariums?  I had an algae explosion and it's getting hard to see the fish.
yuck....never could get in to having fish tanks....that might explain it.....course getting my girls to change the cat box is a story and a half too!!

I've had aquariums since I was a teen.  This is the first time I've encountered uncontrolable algae.  Usually they are easy to keep clean and fun to sit and watch.

I'm trying to teach the cats to clean their own litter box.  So far they just look at me with their sad eyes and meow.  I love 'em to death but I am sick of the poop.

Get an algae sucker fish!

Awesome! My shin is a bit sore from the weekend and not loving the impact right now but I'll do what I can this week and no doubt have a crazy one next week to get on target!

Just realised I need to swim every other day to hit that target but that shouldn't be a problem, just boooooring....

Welcome to my world, Rachel. Undecided

I feel for you, I really do. I know lots of people find it relaxing, calming, peaceful, whatever, but I don't!  Plus I have a tonne of one arm drills to do right now which work just fine on one side but on the other I end up nearly drowning. I'm sure it looks hilarious to anyone watching!

Are you learning to breathe bilaterally? Because this sounds exactly what I looked like when I was teaching myself. (looks/feels like drowning)

hee hee - yep - you guessed it! How on earth can it be so easy on one side and so impossible on the other?!

Breakfast lasagne?! Well actually that sounds pretty good! Your freezer is so much better than mine too, mine has a loaf of bread, some frozen berries, pastry, coffee beans, bananas and chicken bones (for stock making purposes) - thats it - no delicious ice cream or lasagne!

It's not really an algae problem - it's called blue-green algae but it's actually a cyanobacteria.  The sucker fish don't eat it.  I do have a clown plecostomus in my big tank.  All he does is look cute.
