(seesh...about time you chimed in...too busy looking for your marbles?)...

Seriously.  It's not even funny.  They are so far gone I think they're unfindable .

Way cool day.

Got to meet ElHeffe99 and his family. His daughter qualified for the Junior Olmpics Saturday in the Butterfly.

He and I rode almost 22 miles around his hilly neighborhood.

Good thing is recovering from injury and out of shape. He almost kicked my butt. Hate to see what happens when he gets in shape.

mila - 2008-05-08 4:07 AM   I'm not as dumb as I look, ya know!

Prove it! .... wink I am thinking of the Look Pedals. I like the double sided speedplays. Wondering if the bigger platform of the Looks would be easier. How are looks and speedplays in transition?

LOL

My Speedplays are HOTTT in transition.  Is that what you were asking??  Honestly, once you're used to your pedals I think it's all relative.  I have no problem whatsoever with mine.  I can tell you that at the SCHIM last year I almost got into a bad wreck because a man with Look Keos was having a tough time clipping in but who knows what his experience level was or what was going on with his nerves or whatever.

Don't be a hater...

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I found a Desoto wetsuit on Craigslist. It is supposed to be brand new. But when I asked if it was a Black Pearl or First wave, he replied it was made before that distinction.

I know wetsuits deteriorate with age. How old can an un used wetsuit be and still be useable?

What should I look for besides cracks? And anything I should know about age cracks?

Found out he won the wetsuit in 2002 at the Catalina Tri. His name matches up with the #1 swimmer that year.

20.5 miles running today in 4 horus 2 minutes. A slogfest. And perfect 57 degree weather. Light mist first 18 miles light rain last 2 miles.

Heart rate 25 beats per minute higher than last month and 23 seconds per mile slower. Must be out of shape. Only did 8 miles this month before today.

Nice job!  12 min miles aren't bad --especially over that distance and with little base built for the month.   NICE JOB!

550 yards swimming before the aqua aerobics class kicked me out of the pool, then an hour of weights.

Javelin tri bike goes into the shop on Thursday to be assembled. I tried to do it myself, but the brake cables are way loose and I don't know how to tighten them, and they go over rather than under the handlebars.

Purchased my first wetsuit from Promotion today. Should arrive in a week.

Ps. running 20 miles on that little base is stupid. I am lucky and didn't pay for it this time. Am helping out a friend and thats the only way he could get in his long runs. Would not be my normal way of doing things. I probably should have run long the last couple of weeks with out him.

Oh well, coulda, woulda, shoulda.

What kind of bio chemistry do you teach the new instructors?

What do you use for z4. My Garmin starts at zone 0 and goes to 6. I think BT charts start at z1 and go to 5c

Still trying to reconcile the two.

Posting pics is kind of a pain.  You have to upload them into your album, then click on properties to get the URL, then click that little tree icon above this box and paste the URL into the appropriate box.  You can do it!  We want more bike porn, LOL.

Went to spin class tonight with the guy who did IMAZ last month. He works at Disney, and is going to be doing body marking at the women's only Danskin tri next month.

I wound up volunteering for that race tonight. Figure its good Karma and a way to pay back the tri community. I like to volunteer once for every 5 races I do.

Great way to pay back Cash...(plus the fact that it's a women's only race...)...

1000 women in wet spandex, what is there not to like?

Hope I don't get the job of wetsuit stripper. For those of you who don't know, ask yourself, what do a 1000 people do when they are in cold water, in a rubber suit and want to warm up, fast?

Don't worry the pee will be washed away by the time they get out of the water.

Mila just wants us to think she has a cold steel heart -- It's more like GOLD!

Hope everyone is doing well!   I'm plugging along slowly but surely.
