Way to go team.
Next to last stage done already. 24 flat miles in today. Pretty tired after race yesterday but did it anyway. This will probably be the only ride I get in this week. Heading up the St. Joe river this weekend for some hiking. May do the route of the Hiawatha on mtn. bike while up there so will count that.

Hello team,
Well, got a family stage tonight. An easy 17k with the kids. Just have to do one more stage and a little 5k, and I am done with my objectives.

Got a 16-miler in this morning and heading out in a bit to get another ride in today. I'm doing fine on my minutes but I might have miscalculated my stages.

If you ride twice in one day, does it count as one or two stages?

Did a second ride last night and counted it as a separate stage...is this right?

Got a long easy ride in this morning. I have a race this weekend so I would normally taper next two days but if I do I won't meet my goal so I am planning on doing some easy rides. Does the challenge end Friday or Saturday?

Thanks team. Keep up the riding!

I believe that as long as your don't do them back to back and they are at least 15 min long you can count them as two rides. That is what I did the other day with my commuter ride. I also think that the Challenge ends the same day as the actual tour.

Everyone is doing really great and I too will be riding again today. I am riding all the stages so I won't prob be actually done until the last day of the tour...although I am ahead one. My Coach has a love/hate relationship with this challenge. It does make it hard to schedule me but on the positive side I'm on the bike. Alot.

Everyone have a great day!

TT went fine - though I should have pushed more - my wattage was a little lower than I want but overall feel good about it.  At the end a guy crashed, broke his collarbone - I got my brick run in running with my med kit and then after examining him called the EMTs as his neck was a risk from the fall....I now have his P4 in my garage (and his helmet) no response from his girlfriend - will give him a shout today....

Yikes (about the crash)!

I did an easy spin yesterday and today to get in my minutes for the tour. Updated the spreadsheet and I met my goal...thank goodness.

Have not seen actual highlights from the real tour in several days!! Hope the rest of you are doing well and reaching for your goals!

Good morning Team,

I will make my goal no problem. I pledged all stages and and hour for each stage. I will be done the day the Tour is done. I am riding later today. I was ahead one stage before yesterday..by not taking the TDF rest day but I did need a break yesterday, so I am right on track.

Congrats to all that have reached their goals!!! I know we all will pull it out and get all 100% or maybe even over.

Everyone have a great day!!!

Update: apparently I can not count so I will still be finished by Sun the end of  the TDF but I will have to ride twice tomorrow to get all the Stages. I will be riding 1+ hours just shortly and I recounted my stages and updated. I missed one half of one bike commute. So I will make it...maybe the Flame'Rouge but I'll be there. Save me some Champane.

I just hit my goal.
Did an Oly this morning, well a duathlon, they had to cancel the swim, it was too windy and the waves were too big. They could not have boats on the course so they decided to change it to a duathlon for security reasons. And it was raining... but by the time we finished the race, the winds had calm down and the sea was a lot better, only small waves.
Race report not ready yet, maybe tomorrow.
Let`s go team.......

Made my goals and even went over a little on time. Did a long one on the infamously Shawnee Forest TTT 1/2Iron Course(only one loop) I have not been riding the hills much so I about up-chucked on the long climb on FR#1 on switchback 2 or about a million. But I didn't and got it together and finished and we added in the valley road out from the course some and then back to the Trans area. So I feel pretty good about it. I hope everyone else is finishing strong and Now I'm off to shower...my Hubby will be happy about that ...and watch the TDF finale.

Much luck everyone!!

Darnit, I thought we had tomarrow too. Oh well, came really close on both 9/10 and 244/250. If it wasn't just so late tonight I would try to get that 6 miles in. Fun challenge though. Had a great ride today with my husband and daughter on the Route of the Hiawatha rail trail in north Idaho. Lots of tunnels and trestles, really nice ride to finish up on. I wonder how we'll do in the challenge? See you all for Augusts challenge?

Hey team.  Sorry but I won't be helping us.  Will be short my last stage.  I had a bad day on Sunday at my Oly and got sick during the swim and dnf'd.  Still pretty unhappy about that.
