Well, I failed to keep up the trend last night, but will keep it going strong this evening/weekend. Hoping to get in 40+ on sat.

Hi team,

I went for a flat but windy 25 minute (8 mile) jaunt yesterday.  Sorry, captain...I forgot the "post your rides" rule.

I have a slow 65 mile ride planned for tomorrow.  A group of us are riding up to the North Shore, stopping at a shrimp shack, eating lunch, and then trying to make it home without getting too sick.  Ahhhhhhhh...good times.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Well I got 15 miles in today (flat/rolling), before I was chased back by another thunderstorm. On Wednesday I never made it out because of a storm, and yesterday was a lost cause. But at least I got out today, and tomorrow I plan to go 50.

Sunny (the new bike) is soooo much fun.  I feel like I need to become a much better cyclist so I can do her justice!  I definitely need a new seat before I take her out for longer rides.

The Shrimp Shack Social will definitely be an experience.  I'm just wondering if it is going to be one that I want to repeat.

Happy riding, emmentals.

Got my ride in this morning - it was a bit messy.  We had rain early this morning and a lot of road construction on my route, so my bike and I need a bath! 27.5 miles on rolling hills.  Next ride will be Tuesday!  We're kickin'!!!

shermbelle: its those 15 milers that create toughness!

trifatboy: a ride is a ride: well done

katz: i love messy rides, you get to feel like a kid again

artemis: i am sooo glad (and relieved) you are with bike again   (shame you have to work on saturdays)

so its your non-mainland and across the pond cousins who need to get our arses in gear for tomorrow. i have a 1hour 25min trainer ride planned. was planned for today but decided to take another rest day.

naners is off to eat shrimp and i'm sure daman will share his rides with us from sunny estonia.

Nice riding, emmentals!

I didn't eat shrimp , but I did have pankakes!  I got in a really rainy 52 miles.  It was mostly flat with a couple of rolling hills.  Did I mention that it was rainy?

Shrimp will happen, though.  Just on a less rainy day.  It's now a mission.

Sorry team, no rides so far. I was cut away from my sweet bike, but now I'm back. If my sunburn and weather combination allows, I'll do a short leg spinner today and tomorrow another 100k. From there on a lot of short rides should follow.

I won't let you down!

Looks right to me.

I'll be riding a lot more in the next few weeks.  I'm sidelined with a possible stress fracture in my leg.  Riding is ok (as long as I stay in the saddle), but no running.  Good for this challenge!

I promise to get some miles in today... does that count? I've got at least a 20 miler on the agenda, but it may end up more as I get going. It will be hilly.
